my choir has attempted this piece as well but with little success, being a freshman, i am put in the choir with less note accuracy, we have definitely progress but it was nowhere near to this which is virtually perfect. Great Job NHS.
@christalelynne you mean when they start singing "Saaaaaaaaampson was a witness for my lord." ? if that's what you're talking about then i just want to let you know that's how it's supposed to be sung. My choir has done this song and I have seen the music and that's what you're supposed to do.
This is really really good. It's awfully hard to sing like the African-Americans can when you're not one yourself. In my opinion these young people did this wonderfull old song justice.
It was a favorite of ours! This song is great! I loved the whole set up! It was jsut fantastic! And you guys did this the justice that it very much deserves!!!
this was really good, but i have a question, were u guys a strictly classical choir, because that wasa gospel song, and it seemed like your conductor wasn't lettin u guys have much fun, u guyz didn't seem happy and thats an awesome fun song to sing

the "you read about sampson" verse changes to a different tempo. it was written that way.
