Human behavior has always been changing. If some people can work together then I say all can work together. It will just take time before any kind of anarchist society would function on a large scale. People have to be educated about the possibilities and we have to work together to create a better world. I don't believe you can just overthrow a government and everything will be fine. Society will have to gradually change until it get's to the point where government just isn't relevant anymore.
It is not necessarily anarchist, that is just a lack of leadership, living in communities is communism (hence commune), where everyone is equal and working for the greater good of "the people". @Gulfporter Ah. What did he say then? My dad calls people mara, which is an old mining term for friend. Everyone else in the Potteries says "duck" or "our youth." The history of the word duck is actually entirely unrelated to the etymology of the avian species, and is actually derived from ducas, an anglo-saxon term similar to "my liege." It is also the root of the word Duke.

If people are lacking of enough morality and intelligence to govern themselves, how is it that we are moral and intelligent enough to vote for who we want to rule us. This to me is a major incongruity which has yet to be explained to me.

I've been raised in in the North, therefore I am Northern. I have only been to Ireland once, and I don't speak Irish. Presumably you would argue that black people are African, not American?

Is'nt the selection of a leader suppose to mean that he/she is a representative of, the person who elects the leader, their views.
Then why do we have a bunch of people (the government) doing shit, that the clear majority find wrong.
That is just proof that the system does not work ! ( It looks good on paper, but it just dosent work)
We are better off working for ourselves and helping each other than creating governments that make more problems.

Working for ourselves? If we were to go out into straight anarchy, EVERYTHING you own will become subject to stealing. All security you have would be gone. All your commodities such as electricity, heating, water, internet etc. will all have to be regulated by yourself.
Fact is, if there was no government, there would be pure chaos... We already have problems trusting our next door neighbors.
Not saying I support our government, but I dont agree that we get rid of it either.

Watch the movie zeitgeist addendum or at least look into the work being done by Jacque Fresco. He proposed a society without money (and government). He basically said that government, laws, and many occupations we deal with today won't exist because they wouldn't be relevant. So as long as people do not work together cooperatively (crime, violence) then government WILL be necessary.

As a historian I was disgusted with Zeitgeist. It is full of misinformation and lies, I am not sure if it is out of ignorance or purpose. Frescos idea is called Utopian Socialism, see Charles Fourier and his wildly imaginative ideas. Marx got many of his ideas from Fourier.

Human behavior has always been changing. If some people can work together then I say all can work together. It will just take time before any kind of anarchist society would function on a large scale. People have to be educated about the possibilities and we have to work together to create a better world. I don't believe you can just overthrow a government and everything will be fine. Society will have to gradually change until it get's to the point where government just isn't relevant anymore.

It is not necessarily anarchist, that is just a lack of leadership, living in communities is communism (hence commune), where everyone is equal and working for the greater good of "the people". It didnt work in Germany under Hitler, In Russia under Lenin or Stalin, Mao, Pot, Mengistu, Castro etc. Why do people continually think this ideology will work, it certainly has proven it cannot.

I opposed the war in Iraq as it wasn't in America's best interests and imposing democracy on tribal societies isn't likely to work very well. Still, I have no sympathy with Islamic insurgents, young or otherwise.
If only the radical left loved people more than they hated America. Iraqis are as much rhetorical props for De La Rocha as they are Bush or Zarqawi.
