  • 3:30 to get to what you wanted

  • Idiot. its called dasheen not callaloo

  • @xmen002 Arima. Last time I went to Blanchisseuse about 5 1/2 years ago we passed by there. I knew it as Shark and Bake and my family still refers to it as that... sorry. Didn't know I had it wrong.

  • bake & Shark? I'm a Trini and I know it as Shark & bake. Since when'd they change the name?

  • @skittlesblu9291 i doh no which part ah trinidad u from but i always no it and hear otha people say bake and shark

  • @xmen002 i tink it all depends on which part yuh from for real...my mom is frmo tuna puna and she does say shark and bake...meh fadda is from penal and he does say bake and shark...whatever doh rly make a difference it all does taste good no matta how yuh say it :P

  • man I went to Richards and had bake and shark boy it was a trip well worth it..........

  • even tho we in america we still got the culture w. us ilke the bake & shark; bake & salt fish or callalo; or even pepperpot & cow heel soup. it may not be the same because its not fresh but i know my fam is from Guyana & my dad is from indian & we still eat made stuff from back in their days.

  • Oooh I want some :)

  • I wish there was a god damn teleportation machine so I could try that shark and bake right now!!

  • To say America is a nation of burger-hungry gluttons is not only offensive, but ignorant. I am American, I eat healthy and I know tons of others that do.

  • @xoitoshigox3

Of course America is the home of burger hungry gluttons but he didn't have to say it. that is not nice at all. Gonna waddle over to the Burger King now and get a combo meal to ease my hurt feelings.

  • i want some shark!

  • shit I'm tired of burgers n pizzas

  • for sum reason wenever i watch this show i get mad because it makes me realy hungry and i want to eat sumting like a bake 'n sharck and i cant get one and im a trini!

  • what straight man says fabulous? :S

  • @veiroelle idiot

  • Trinidad women are so fucking hot and taste great, I know this from the escort I regularly "date." Too much?

  • eh heh?...bake and shark 1 of his top 10 favorite foods ever?.....done know....

  • @aha00002 If you saw how much processed garbage people eat here in America and how hard it is to get food that isn't full of artificial ingredients and additives, Bake n' Shark would probably become your favorite food too, lol... I've tried foods from all over the world too, nowhere near as many as Andrew here but still a lot, and I can tell you for a certainty that the foods people eat in other countries are just plain better than what we're used to in this nation of burger-hungry gluttons.

  • @Jimaera Its easy to get food that isn't full of artificial ingredients and additives here in a the US...Simply go to your local grocery store, walk past the processed foods and you find a large fresh Produce section and a Meat/Seafood section, then you pick our your fresh ingredients and cook a meal like a normal person. Its not hard.. I highly doubt that you are an American, we are not all "burger-hungry gluttons" lol.. If you want fresh ingedients, don't eat fast food and TV dinners...simple

  • @ToadsMGodes I am in fact American. Sure the grocery store has fresh meat and produce, but what they don't tell you is that unless you're paying two to three times the price for a cut of meat specifically labeled "organic," what you're getting probably came a cow that' was raised in a commercial stockyard, fed grain genetically modified to grow faster, given injections of growth hormones and butchered under inhumane and unsanitary conditions.

  • @ToadsMGodes Same goes for the produce- unless you're paying astronomical prices for organic fruits and veggies the vast majority of what you're getting is covered in pesticides, wax and chemical fertilizer. And as for avoiding all the fillers and additives...? Next time you go to the grocery store, try reading the ingredients list on any item on the shelves and count how many ingredients you can't pronounce. Maybe then you'll start to realize how big a problem this country really has.

  • @Jimaera I think you are being just a little dramatic about the amount of pesticides etc on the produce, sure there are some, just wash before cooking them.. Btw, I know that processed foods are filled with additives and fillers, you wanna know how I avoid them? I don't buy and eat that shit!... wow that was simple.. Ive been eating meat and produce from local grocery stores all my life and I am healthy as a horse. What do you eat? if all the food is poison how do you survive? u vagina.

  • @ToadsMGodes That last quip made pretty clear that it's not worth my time carrying on this discussion any further, lol.

  • @Jimaera Fair enough.. its good to be critical of the quality of food in this country, and god knows there is room for improvements.. You shouldn't write off the masses of your fellow Americans as "burger-hungry gluttons" it only makes you look ignorant and smug. If you said that in California they would throw you in a dumpster full of spoiled tofu and steamed celery.

  • wow, i gotta go to this place.

  • fatass stuffing his face with exotic foods from all over the world and bake and sharks and im starving

  • Soldier...SOLDIER!!!!!!....thas not kallalloo...tha's ah bundle of Dasheen bush. lol

  • I have never seen anyone put dasheen roots in callalloo. The market vendor probably doesn't know how to cook. Only the dasheen leaves are used along with ochroes, pumpkin, pimentos, coconut milk and local seasoning.

  • TRINIDAD !!!!!!

  • Yo I like my shak an bake wit plenty peppa

  • I love Richard's bake & shark. It's sooooo Delcious! I can't wait to go back to TnT this year to get one!

  • i lived in trinidad for 8 years and i took these good food for granted

  • That looks so good! I am so tired of McD's et al American fast foods! I live in the US South, and the soul food is great (homemade), but restaurant food sucks big time! I would love to try the island foods! I use to live in NYC and love the roti (goat and conch)! I miss it!

  • whooa that looks soo good. I wanna try it!

  • Out of all the bizarre foods I've seen on this show, this is probably the only one I'd consider trying. It actually looks pretty tasty.

  • EVER... when I go Trinidad, I'm heading there first.

  • "That guy's laundry bill has got to be monstrous" LoL!

  • trinis are so ignorant....always tryin to tell someone else how to do his job..ugh smh..im half though

  • @importantnegro Humans in general do that, FYI

  • id kill for bake and shark, yummy yummy. worth two toughts going there :)

  • Shark is the pork of the sea, so I can see the bake and shark being pretty damn good!!!!

  • This guy goes to T and T and says he has eaten the best foods ever. But you motherfucking racists give him shit for his lexicon? Way to promote T and T stupid shits.

  • I don't think he meant it that way. I think it was just his way of explaining it for those of us that haven't been to Trinidad. I can tell by looking at the sauce that it has nothing to do with BBQ sauce as we know it in the US. I've had sweet and sour as have most of us, I think he was just trying to explain it so those of us who haven't had tamirand sauce could have something to wrap our minds around.

  • this rasta man just call dasheen bush calloo???? wtmc
