I think that black men in general have a more defeated mentality in comparison to black women. Black women struggle but they keep moving. Black men seem to have a lower tolerance to the situation we have BOTH been placed in. This goes back to what you said about BM having one bad experience with a BW and giving up while BW just keep living their lives as they did. Some of it can possibly be traced to gender. All men have a lower tolerance for failure, rejection...and an overall fragile ego.
