after watching it a few more times i finally get the story..

and the subtlety of the use of different coloured shirts reflecting his schizophrenia (or split personality?) getting more severe over time

he stops at the red light in a white shirt

thinks and attempts crossing while flashing green light with the blue shirt

does it with the red shirt

then crosses the red light with the black shirt

then the guy who "splits" from him is wearing a white shirt as oppose to him wearing the black shirt

quite nice... although, fyi, schizophrenia and split personality is actually two very different things... i'm also not sure if a schizophrenic acts like this... i know that they hear voices and see things... but i don't know much about it.
