I like storm chasing. When I was 11, my mom had 2 carpool 4 my brothers school. It was a half an hour drive. I live in the lightning capital of the world, so it isn't hard to go look for the lightning. On exactly May 12th, 2009, I had gone to look for lightning. I din't see much to his school, but on the way back, i had the 2nd most lightning I have ever seen. It intrigued me of how much lightning was there. So technically, I've been storm chasing since I was 11.
Wow! That's the first rotating updraft timelapse vid I have seen from the southern hemisphere! It's like watching a mirror image of one of our storms. Cool!
No, but most supercells in the northern hemisphere rotate counter clockwise. This storm is rotating as would be expected in the southern hemisphere. Footage of a cyclonic clockwise rotating supercell not very common.

@guitarkilla The reason being , I think, is due to the tilt of the planet causing the winds on the Northern hemisphere to blow right, and vice versa.
