My bangs all ready have a fringe but they grew out of it so I need to cut it. Your tutorial will help but my hair kind of is layered at the top a little farther down from bangs and it gives my hair this puffy effect. Would it still work if I had it cut like in the video?

I wouldn't recommend it. The last time I tried to cut my bangs with a shaving razor, it got really dry and damaged D: Maybe the razor that I used was just dull, but it's best to use a hair razor because it's more suitable! ^^;

I'm not sure if I'll make another tutorial like this with regular scissors. I have yet to experiment with that ^^;

But if you want to give it a try, I'd suggest you to hold your scissors diagonally or vertically. Don't cut straight across and do your bangs by layers like I did in this video as well (:

Both will work fantastic for you if you have thick hair.

It comes down to your face shape ^^; If you have more of a short round squareish face, you should try longer side swept bangs.

If it's more oval, heart, or overall long, you can try these versatile bangs! :)
