I think it was about what she feels in the moment, the present, because she says "Have you ever felt this way", not "that way" which would imply present tense. I think she is talking about how surprising it is to feel that way, the way she says "you called me sugar" twice to emphasize it. The video is really good and really you don't have to reshoot (though I'd like to see another of your videos).
