it's been said before, but yes, this was shot over the course of 2 days in seaside park, nj in june '85. it is excellent splicing, as there were only 3 live cuts of the song on that stage, with alec MIA for the first 2. somehow, he didn't get back from, yes folks, the howard johnson's in toms river! that's where dinner was. the band stayed at the surfside & a few of us walked over to the old chatterbox that night, with jon reminiscing about being snuck in the back door when he was 16 to play.
