  • dedico aos filhos da puta que destruíram belas camaradages!!! Para mim serão sempre um nojo, e quando por vocês passo tenho nauseas! FILHOS DA PUTA

  • I heard angel dust a couple of months ago and didn't like at all. Too much alternative, non-comercial, a little bit hip hop, without great main refrain, guitar solos and so.

I don't know what is happenin' to me but I'm lovin' this album nowadays...

    Midlife crisis is amazing too;

  • you mean in the wake of pearl jam and sound garden fuck nirvana... you know what was the best thing that came out of nirvana? (Foo Fighters) not much of a fan of Foo Fighters but hell anything is better then Nirvana!!!!!!

  • awesomeness to a degree long since capable of being reached

  • Stands in applause for TheSkeletorman.

  • This is the first album when Mike Patton didn't sound like Bugs Bunny when he sang. :P

  • @SkaMasta097 WTF?!

  • @DungeonChampionship I mean his high pitched crooning/singing style he used on The Real Thing and Mr. Bungle's debut. He started singing deeper starting with his album.

  • @ClassicRock776 Actually, FNM released their first album in 1985.

  • Such a great song for a awesome period in my life in the rock scene!

  • Like if Jim Martin should be back in the band!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Like this comment if Jim Martin should've been back in the band by now!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Such an underrated album

  • Who's the son of a bitch who disliked this song?

  • @mariannamedina bet it was chuck mosley

  • @mariannamedina lets get that fucker!!!

  • @mariannamedina The 1%.

  • @MaleBolge980 I love it when you people post. It's an easy way for the rest of us to find out who the real idiots are. Holy fuck man, are there really people like you still left in the civilized world? BTW, where do you think you're going? Unless "God" [a ridiculous concept as you see it] is a retarded & ignorant fuck like yourself, don't expect to be getting into "heaven" any time soon there Forrest.

  • @joefukuto okay man whether or not you have faith, still not cool to insult a person's religion.

Just because we have different beliefs doesn't mean we cant find common ground or some sort of unity

  • @rogers900 Hey, absolutely... I can find common ground with damn near anybody but, me thinks, there is no common ground between me and Bulgy there. I'm afraid I wouldn't last more than a minute or two locked in the same room before I would have to kick the shit out of him. It's his kind of mentality [religious fanaticism] that has, for thousands of years, and continues to, hold back the human race. Imagine if religion had not been around to hold back science for the last 2000 years...

  • @joefukuto science needed religion. they needed something to prove wrong.

  • @rogers900 fuck your religion.

it's as disgusting and offensive as my comment is to you.

  • @MaleBolge980 yeah how about quoting exodus 21:2-6 21:20-21 21:7-8

  • @mariannamedina his bitch mother did too. they must die.

  • @mariannamedina

Someone who doesn't like shitty generic mainstream alt rock

  • @arseropes I wonder what's not shitty generic mainstrean alt rock for you...

  • @mariannamedina he has 4 brothers!

  • patton for president!

  • @tinfoilhatter he has my vote!! xD

  • too good

  • if i speak at one constant

  • you still wont hear

  • this song kicks ass

  • You still won't hear.

  • a heirarchy spread out on the nightstand...where its safe

  • Probably my favorite song from this album!! Amazing...

  • Part of what makes Faith No More so unique is that each song sounds like a downward spiral. It sounds like a personal extreme psychological journey breaking down. If you could hear Mike Patton's (or alot of other people for that matter) unsubconscious, it would sound like Faith No More, put it that way.

  • woo!

  • The thought of looooooosssinnggg, Can you afford that luxuryyyyyyyyyy?

I DO LOVE PATTON, HE IS A BABE

  • the sound is 90s and american

both of which dont exist anymore

  • @jiggitydazzle84 THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST AVANT-GARDE HARD ROCK GROUP OF THE 90S...

  • @joeblack173 sukkels

  • Comment removed

  • @jiggitydazzle84- you're right, the 90's bands were soooo much deeper than what we got after them. It started with Nu Metal and the Creed bands and we've been flowing steadily down the commode since.

  • @boogiechillen123 I thought Creed was a Pearl Jam band.

And Nu Metal started in the 90's.

  • @frididjurhuus Creed is the members of Alter Bridge with Scott Stapp as frontman and singer

  • 18+ years later, indeed. This album is pure gold and the best thing FNM ever produced. Holds water as it always will

  • TIMELESS. Period.

  • @dynaflow74 Why? I'll tell you why....most of the world is retarded.

  • good song, wonder why under 100.000

  • This is still my favorite song on this album, and a contender for my favorite FNM song overall.

  • amazing how well FNM's music has aged. Just as fresh as ever.

  • Is it just me or can anyone else rage to this song?

  • love this voice...really, like uhh<33

  • finally looked up/figured out the lyrics to this and it justs add another dimension of awesomeness to this.

  • I didn't know they can rock like this......I stand corrected....damn...They are awesome!!

  • this song makes me so happy!

  • brilliant music

  • ... I wish this song didn't make me cry.

    Or do I?

I dunno.... but it really does 'get' to me.

I read about this song, and how it was 'supposedly' inspired by the fact that Mike's dad was a coach & all. But for me, it's not about 'not measuring up', or anything... it's just about how I often feel alone, and that the world at large just doesn't get me.

    Weird.

Best fucking album ever. Light years ahead of its time...

  • @runthemachine No doubt man, this was an amazing album, I played it non stop back in the day.

  • probably the perferct rock and roll song. its even got a burp solo.

  • blows me away

  • there is no label for good music except good music.

  • Why do people always start comparing other bands to Faith No More in these videos? |: srsly just sit back and enjoy the music and stop acting like anyone is more special than the other just because you know this band.

  • It's not metal. It's alternative. For those who were there when anthrax and skid row became uncool in the wake of Nirvana and Soundgarden, Faith No More was the watershed moment in our musical lives, when lyricism meant more than sexism, when arrangement meant more than choreographed stage moves. FNM bridged gaps between the art-punk Pixies fans and the Syth metal spuzz of Whitesnake. That's an achievement,

  • @TheSkeletorman Bro that was a definition and a half! :D thats exactly how it was ..cos I was growing up in those times .. I moved from Skid Row,Motley Crue ,Slaughter and Twisted Sister...then came this FNM I remember and later I moved to the AIC,Soundgarden, Mother Love Bone, Pearl Jam etc... :)

  • @TheSkeletorman

If I speak at one constant volume, at one constant pitch, at one constant rhythm, right into your ear, you still won't hear. :)

  • @TheSkeletorman

And they are the only good alternative band in existence to be honest.

  • @TheSkeletorman

how could u put anthrax and skid row in the same phrase

and another thing Anthrax is,was and always will be cool!

  • @TheSkeletorman best FNM comment on youtube!

  • @TheSkeletorman Well said, sir. You do indeed have the power of Grayskull.

  • Best track on possibly the best album I have ever bought. So...

  • YOU STILL WON'T HEAR, YOU STILL WON'T HEAR, YOU STILL WON'T HEAR, YOU STILL WON'T HEAR, YOU STILL WON'T HEAR!! You still won't hear. . . *keyboard*

  • Why do you never hear them on the radio? Or Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins? The only nod to the alternative scene in the early 90s are the fuckin' Chilis! Someone's not sucking the right cocks I reckon.

  • @PeteAmachree theres a station in pittsburgh, 105.9 the X . and they play so much pearl jam and stone temple pilots its disgusting

  • @8corradov never, ever call those bands disgusting again. Jets are going to beat the Steelers by the way.

  • @cdudeNYR Lawl so much for that

  • @PeteAmachree agreed. And in my opinion RHCP sucks. Need more Pumpkins for sure, STP, Pearl Jam, i agree with all your choices. Would you believe that i actually heard HELMET on the radio today?! I was shocked and extremely happy. More Helmet too, maybe instead of all that Nirvana bullshit they spoonfeed on Adult Contemporary channels. Yes, I like that idea very much.

  • anyone else get a 'behind the sun' feel?

  • Saw this tour three times...totally mind blowing and still my favorite FNM album to this day

  • I prefer another songs but this is great.

  • What Kropotkinskyaya Said!

  • Bought this as a schoolkid, 15 I think I was. Me and my mate listened to it the whole summer and beyond. Somehow it just slipped out of my conscience over the next 15 years. Listening to it again, I recall every note! Such is the power of (great) music. God blessed this band. Thanks for the upload Fallenx. Great memories.

  • Best part 0:34 - 0:40

  • Shouldn't bother me but it does

  • yelling with my mouth shut!

  • 0 dislikes

  • MDR xxx Flo xxx

  • LMAO. This is a pretty damn stupid song. xD go listen to some metal.

  • @Conspiracytheorist91 trolling bitch

  • @IRONnugget09 keyboard hero.

  • @Conspiracytheorist91 lol i try

  • @Conspiracytheorist91 its funny because most metal heads would make fun of you for calling what you listen to "metal"

  • @asasassify lmao, the word alive, suicide silence, and asking alexandria are what I listen to. I am a metalhead, bitch.

  • @Conspiracytheorist91 hmm so your either disrespecting this band for:

a - actually being able to sing a tune

b - having the courage to play in a major key

or c - being original enough to not label themselves as one thing like "metalhead"

  • @Conspiracytheorist91 No....You're not. You're a screamcorehead. I'm not knocking what YOU listen to, but Metalhead means that you listen to a much wider range of metal than just that alone.

  • @Conspiracytheorist91 lol, a metalhead? if youre under 30 youre not, you're just a dumb kid (not everyone under 30, just you)

  • @Conspiracytheorist91 First of all, Mike patton would beat your ass with one arm behind his back, and secondly, your girlfriend and probably even your mom would fuck him.

  • @porcupine07 LMAO. people over 30 aren't metalheads. lmfaooo. they listen to that 70's rock pussy shit. Just like you do.

  • @Conspiracytheorist91

Mike Patton was well over 30 when he got into his heaviest phase. You'd be surprised at how many great musicians there are over the age of 30. It's a rarity that a kid could actually write anything meaningful. You don't have the experience to actually know what in the fuck you are talking about in the first place....unless you want to talk about the maddening injustice of your parents grounding you...and NOBODY wants to hear your lame life shit.

  • @Conspiracytheorist91 You're either a total retard or just a clueless kid-probably both. people over 30 were teeneagers when metal was brand new dumbshit. This crap you kids listen to now is shit, and it's not metal. Nu-metal is not metal. go listen to disturbed and go back to cutting yourself.

  • @porcupine07 You're obviously talking about shit you don't know. Disturbed? You have no idea what new metal is. They SUCK. Look up Asking Alexandria, Greeley Estates, Bless the Fall, Bring me the Horizon, As I lay Dying, Etc. Dumbfuck.

  • @Conspiracytheorist91 LMAO you love showing off what a greenhorn are don't you? I said Nu-Metal not new metal, again just sit back and learn from the grownups and stop embarrasing yourself

  • @Conspiracytheorist91 Go listen to your Slipcock, "metalhead".

  • @ThorinSHR Slipcock sucks. The Word Alive is where it's at.

  • ben oui je suis sincere banane lol

  • Did Jim Martin quit before or after this album? Yeah yeah I know Wikipedia I'll look it up in a sec :P

  • Now THIS is quality and talent.

  • For all his greatness FNM is somewhat more than just patton himself, you know...

  • huthuthut huthuthut hut hut hut hhhut hut hut

    <3<3<3<3<3<3

  • a sore loser ayellin wit my mouth shut

  • Mike Patton is not going to live forever sorry

  • The day Patton and Ozzy die is the day metal and rock ends ...

  • @Curtofthehorde94

    Gene Simmons had a son...

  • Thumbs up if you think Patton's gonna live forever (:

  • This song will be a hit in 2022.

  • @eclecticretard true

  • still think this is their best album, liked watching them evolve frome skate punk to political rants and social issues, all of their albums are good, but this one was their "diamond"

  • this album is definately the band at their pinnacle, from skate punk to political statement , it was nice watching them evolve, all of their albums were good, but I listen to this one the most

  • This has a parental advisory on it? Faith No More seems pretty clean for the most part.

  • @JJ7ification

I would assume its on there for "Be aggressive".

  • my personal best song of FNM.

  • I love the "at one constant pitch, at one constant rhythm" part. It's just all around excellent.

  • @Automission42 thats my favorite part too! :D

  • @FalleNxAngeLx1116 the whole song is my favorite part <3

  • @FalleNxAngeLx1116... and mine too! Could listen to this part a thousand times ...

  • @Automission42 OATH! how good is it.. he is just a fkn legend..

  • @Automission42

    Youtube -

They Sold Their Souls For Rock And Roll

  • @Automission42 i love the part where it sounds like he's saying eat shit

  • @Automission42

surely one of the most iconic moment from this whole album, which is a pretty bold statement but one i must make

  • Loved them since I was 15, one of the only bands aside form Ministry ( at the time) who properly fused Metal, pop and dance music. Amazing.

  • Patton♥

  • @Wrathchild2506 veryyy much agreed :D

  • @FalleNxAngeLx1116 Hehe i love his voice and i love him!!! :DDD

  • I own a limited edition yellow vinyl 7" with Let's Lynch the Landlord on the other side. Not really worth a lot but it's still pretty nice. Two really cool songs.

  • I've bought their first tapes when I was just a teen and these songs walk always my mind.. I can't stand without'em and I've discovered they come in my songs too... They were a great band, with ahead ideas, technique and pure power!

  • Me too. :) I remember moshing with my old best friend around the loungeroom to Midlife Crisis & Be Aggressive, amongst others, in the early 90's.

Faith No More, Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream, Metallica's black album....even Gunners...those were some of the bands that I grew up to & will always be major favorites.

I missed out on seeing FNM, Janes Addiction & Placebo at Soundwave yesterday...SO BUMMED OUT!!

We were lucky to grow up with such brilliant, original music. :)

  • A small victory, Land of Sunshine, Midlife crisis, Be aggressive, Crack Hitler, Evrerything ruined, Easy... this album is almost too good to be true. Stil rules 18 yrs later.

  • You are right!!! is a amazing album, it´s not have time.

  • @CoachIronNB fuck yeah it does man, the best of the best ma fucka!!!

  • Damn straight, Coach.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

  • @CoachIronNB: Agreed, this album does rule, still rule and will rule forever!

  • @CoachIronNB my fav cd all time

  • @CoachIronNB people should buy that album in vinyl or cassette and not having the option of ffw and listen the whole album like its supposed to, haha

  • @CoachIronNB you forgot jizzlobber!

  • @CoachIronNB u right, but now 19yrs :)))

  • @CoachIronNB always and forever.

  • Actually land of sunshine is best.

  • midlife crisis, this and now everythings ruined are the fucking best songs from this album,

  • and kindergarten

  • this was 1 of there best song's on the album

  • thank u fallen...

  • love the guitar in this one, simple but good

  • Google - They Sold Their Souls For Rock n Roll

  • This is a very good album! Some really good songs on Angel Dust - Midlife Crisis, Everything's Ruined, Easy, A Small Victory, Crack Hitler & Midnight Cowboy.

  • Seriously, just buy the album. Not spamming here. It's just a very good album.

  • @trapper439 I did...on cassette. Let's never discuss how long ago that was ever again :)

  • @silent222blue yup, got the cassette too. Didn't have parental advisory labels back then :)

  • @trapper439 Is it better than "The Real Thing"?

  • I love the spoken part at the end.
