@kitsteel I listen to a song for a variety of things: Flow, lyrics mostly, beats, and how catchy it is.. a song can't be dependent upon beats... Dre is really good producer but Vinnie Paz, Snowgoons, 50 cent, Kanye, DMX all have just as good of beats in my opinion...kanyes flows sometimes a bit off but lyrical content is there for...Na, like Dre beats take ages to be created whereas other producers make as good a beat, sometimes better in half the time in my opinion

California Love, for example, is one of my favourite hip hop beats of all time, or the tune in Some LA Niggas, that was sick. I am in no rush, and the sound Dre makes is more to my taste than most... he isnt shit, it usually comes down to taste, but he definietly isnt shit- the combination of it all makes a song.
