Here you can see / especially on the Intro: It does not need a great high-end equipment, no fancy sythys etc. ... groove, feeling and 'less is more' work for itself !!
You are an amazing artist. I haven't thought about you and your ability for a while. I watched you play at my best friend's wedding about 15 years ago (Simsbury, CT native). I play - and I marvel at your ability. Good to see you doing so well with your career. All the best man.
I attended this concert whilst living in London in 1986. It was fantastic and this was the best part of the concert, At another stage Ray got up and played the alto sax. About 15 years later I saw a documentary on TV about Ray which used heaps of footage from this concert, Does anyone know where i can get the full documentary ?
Thank you for posting this.. :D Hello Jeff.... I said it before and I will always say it... You are clearly one of the Best guitarist/musican in the world....
Thanks for this! I saw it some time ago and then I found it again now ! Sooo funky and cool ! Ray charles best I think and your guitar is an important part of it ! Very good !
Another reason why Pevar is such a great musician. Look at the variety of songs posted under his name. Listen to how he plays each one. His tone, the notes he plays & the notes he doesn't play. Yes, he's got them all but plays only the ones that fit the song. That's the difference. There are a rare few who fit their playing to the song: Steve Lukather, John Jorgenson, Caleb Quaye & Jeff Pevar. Most others leave their mark with a signature tone, licks or groove. Peev gets it.
this is so cool. Had it on videotape, recorded from tv about 15 years ago. lost it 10 years ago. now I found it again here. Does anyone know the title of the song?
Enjoy is probably an insufficient verb for live music this fine, Jeff. I hope Ray treated you and your bandmates well. I've seen him live when he seemed to have a pretty short fuse regarding any minor mistakes made onstage.
That was DA BOMB!!!!

I wonder what Ray means at 6:08 when he says, "don't worry about it"?

@galfredos Hello: how can I get this vhs? Which is the title? Is on sale in Amazon, or others?
I have an VHS of a London concert that year, that is quite the same... but not the same!
I would like the TV special.
Thank you!
