  • a lot of laptops use eeprom chips no jumpers like my sorry presario 2100 I have the hash code though 04577 still working on it

  • lmao this is alot easier achieved by just jumping the cmos.....

  • @jameswoods2001 lmao your a fuckn idiot, you cannot just jump the cmos or remove the battery in Security Chip based systems.

  • @badsaddamdotnet sigh, troll fail. 1. Learn to spell 2. jumping cmos is not achieved by only removing the battery. 3. ALL hardware passwords are reset when the cmos is jumped, end of.

  • you should have told people that this does not work with some computers only old computers.

  • wouldn't removing the battery on the motherboard solve the problem?

  • @vi3tsk8ter well also think...even if it did work u still would lose all other information on the BOIS like ur time and date.

  • Need an Acer Aprie solution for a locked BIOS, They charge $100 and will not help the user do it themselves, the greedy bastards. I emailed them a number of times begging for assistance, I am out of work and have no $100 to spend removing a password!! It's EEPROM based I'm sure

  • So will this work on an IBM thinkpad t41?

  • Comment removed

  • @astromaks wow really will it work on a r40 ibm think pad

  • Comment removed

  • @whakg1 Hi i have a R40 thinkpad and locked out where can i get the instuctions (printable) to make one?

    Thanks in advance.

  • @ayers1241 For your notebook the EEPROM MUST BE READED AND MAYBE REWRITED WITH BLANK PASSWORD OR WELL KNOWN PASSWORD TO ENTER ON IT. SOLDERING 3 CABLES TO IC ITS REQUIRED.

  • @whakg1 I dont know thats what i was asking , i have a IBM thinkpar R40

whats the wire code set up for that?

  • I wish this was more clearer!!

  • Where did you get the diagram to show u how to rig up this device.

  • Hey thanks man this really worked again thank u...

  • Thanx 4 the great vid

  • These instructions r meant 4 the A-10, but the same Mobo was used by various OEM's,so In my opinion this dongle will work on many different Notebooks, question is, what Mobo do U have & is it the same as the A-10?

This guy did a lot of research to deliver this vid. Do U really think he has time to research yours 2?

Hell U won't even take the time yourself? & U have motivation, What's his ?

Look he's already shown U how,now U need 2 do the research, Thats your key

  • Parallel ports are long gone.

I'm working on a Toshiba Laptop at the moment and its a son of a bitch, definitely the toughest hardware security I've come across on a laptop.

  • Thats good but. This dongle is good for a Toshiba Onmibook 900 series?. Thanks a lot.

  • To make it you will need a 25 pin DB25 plug, take the plug apart and join these pins using some old cable;

Pins: 1-5-10, 2-11, 3-17, 4-12, 6-16, 7-13, 8-14, 9-15, and 18-25 Plug it into your parallel port and boot up your machine, the password should be removed as soon as it boots.

  • where did you get your information to rig this device?

  • im sorry imen toshiba a10 .and wer ican get that cabl .and how iconnect the waers plesssss tel me or at les tel me wat namber ican hokt to gether of the waers.

  • All you have to do is to find the chip on the motherboard which is a eeprom and jump it with a paper clip and that is it!

  • hi ihave toshiba c2.00 15x256m 30 rw/dv how ican reset the password pleeeeeezzzzzzzzzzz?

  • it really work. just follow the instruction carefully,

  • could you please post the website you got the instructions from seen as my googling did not come up with anything :S thanks in advance

  • This guy did a good job of explaining the process. I now have my laptop back [from my brother] and able to use. THANKS!!

  • That's not a laptop...that's a freakin' HOUSE...dam, bro!

  • Not impressive, we were doing that in 99/00. Get a new gimmick.

  • unfortunately most new laptops, like the new toshiba satellites, do not have printerports anymore. They use USB printer cables...

  • I have accidently stolen a few laptops, and its impossible for me to sell them cos of the black password screen. Where can a find a dongle to crack passwords.

  • Anyone who steals laptops should know that in English the correct first person pronoun is actually "I" and not "a".

  • accidently stolen a few laptops??? something is wrong there

  • @ kazunesisco1

Most laptops have security chips installed. Removing the "watch battery" or as it is actually called, the CMOS battery, will not erase a laptop bios password. Generally you must solder out the security chip and replace it.

  • orrrrrrrrrrrrr, simply, you take that little watch battery looking thing out and put it back in, it is the battery to the ram for the bios, and powers constanly what saves the bios password, take it out and the bios resets...... simply take out watch battery and then put it back in, comesence.

  • how to unlock Bios password for Dell 1000?

  • Works Like A Charm. Thanks. :]

  • jajajahahhajak

  • actually if u didnt want to do all that wiring you could simply remove the motherboard casing and get to the motherboard. find the correct jumper... and move it over to the right onto the next post for about lets say 10 minutes. that should reset the bios and effectivly erase the bios password. look in your motherboard documentation to find out what jumper to use or just google it.

  • that is only on desktop computers and laptops

  • sir can u post here the combination thank you and more power

  • awsome!

  • google is your friend if you are looking for specific instructions, also shouldn't you use some eletrical tape to make sure the wires won't touch?

    good video though,

  • failure

  • either you're lying or you actually walked up to his kids and asked them "yeah you're father died. what could he had used as a password? because i wanna play with iiit"

in any case, you're an ass!

  • 4:17 the drawing is blurry

which wires is going to shorts

pls make a video just showing the clear pictures is this available on all brand , laptop , and desk top maybe...tnks

  • Will testing different combinations of the wires cause ill effects?

  • playing with diff combinations can cuase harm to ur laptop. Even the right combination can cose harm, but iof done right it should be fine. Combinations depend on what laptop u have , maker and model.

  • Hi I also am having a problem with the notebook i have with HDD!1 password the model isToshiba Satelitte A135 I forgot the password I really need help i did call the company and they said the only answer is to put in a new hard drive please email i look forward to hear from you thank you

  • hey i have the exact same computer exact same problem, have you found a way into it? please please help me!

  • Great. But the latest computers do not have any printer port :D

  • For those of you that think you can pull the CMOS battery and hit a reset button on the motherboard, stick to your day job. You are giving false advice. Almost all notebooks require shorting across a Rom chip or other method. The video above IS the right way to remove a forgotten bootup / BIOS password for Toshiba notebooks that have the LPT port available ( other than paying a Toshiba tech).

  • You are right! removing the CMOS battery won't disable the Bios Password on a laptop. This guy on the video knows what's up though.

  • A dongle work fine but ONLY with TOSHIBA laptop.

  • there are two safe ways of doing it

1 remove cmos battery not used on new models can be found on laptops and pc's

    2

if the computer has a jumper switch inside to reset bios use it and bios including password will be reset

  • i have latitude c610 tag 3BY6G0J-595B can someone help me with the password pleaseeeeee

    7onopsi5

  • Thanks man, i did solve it with the shortning method, actually worked very well and cleared both bios and administrator passwords, and with this laptop model, i didnt even have to disasemble to laptop. Thanks again.

  • With Regards to this Home Made BIOS Dongle... how did you figure out the wire combination?

  • yes you can remove the cmos battery an yes it does work unless its a very modern one an its fitted with a backup one so shut up you knob heads you know tat love the lord

  • sʞɹoʍ ʎןןɐǝɹ sıɥʇ ɐɥɐɥɐɥ

  • how do you removed the bios password for a Dell XPS M1330

  • cant you just remove your CMOS battery for 5 seconds? wont that reset it too?

or do i sound very weird now?

  • yes that would work :P

  • Hey dude can i use the same methed to hack into my administrator account because i tryed every thing and every time i try to find a deffernt way it will say that i need administrator permission ?

  • this guy loves to say dongle

  • where can I get the test instruction for making dongle? thanks

  • Nice, my old Dell forgot it's password and the master password wont work because it forgot that too. I'll have to go rummaging through my closet for cables if someone has some instructions for this online.

  • unfortunately, most new laptops dont have a lpt port

  • nice but my lape haven't printer port

  • most new laptops dont its all usb

  • just curious... where did you download the instructions from?...

  • nice guide even though is unessesary because its easy but nice

  • My friend just called me this morning and was like. Heeey I have a Toshiba laptop and I need help cracking the BIOS for it. I was planning on using a BIOS cracker I was just searching for and found this! And after checking my useless free computer cable box, I found several printer cables perfect for this.

Thank you so much! this will hopefully save a lot of unnecessary trouble.

  • Nice tutorial, sound is a little grainy and the vid is a little blurry but the instructions are clear. Great job.

  • nicccceeeeeeeeee!! vid, i got a dell dimension 5150 how to i unlock it:P?? reply plz:D

  • some dell computers require you to remove the lithium battery from the motherboard for 30 seconds... maybe more

  • Tried it with my Dell C600 for a few days. The password is not stored in the same BIOS chip so it did nothing at all. To make matters worse the laptop not only forgot it's password but it forgot the master password too so Dell couldn't help me.

  • this guy is a asshole for not telling what colors go to what numbers

  • where did he get that laptop... fred flinsone?

  • or you can reset the bios by removing the battery and shorting a jumper for 30 secants.

  • most of the laptops have no batteries...but there are still some old ones have them...removing battery i not actually worked...

  • removing the battery not the cmos. there is a bios reset jumper on all mobos I have ever worked with. and the proseger is the same on all of them. disconnect the power supply (this includes secondary power but not cmos or the like) and shorting it for between 5 secants and a minute.

to my knowledge all laptops still use a battery on the road.

  • its amazing..

  • new laptops have their cmos passwords stored onto a sperate memory location rather than the motherboard's, so this method may work for those, but as for the USB only systems, i dont know.

  • i resolved the BIOS pass problem on my pc by pulling out and the back in the battery from the motherboard, like guy2guy2guy said

  • This guy is a Dongle! Who the hell would go through this crap to reset a BIOS password? Pull the battery or flash the BIOS!

  • no dude, u carnt just take the CMDS battery out of most laptops, it will not get rid of the bios password

  • THATS MY LAPTOP

  • where did u get the plans from

  • thx

  • How can you bypass it if you do not have a parrarell port only USB

    Cheers in advanced

  • Well your computer failes then

  • The second minute and a half is very redundant.

  • the thing u made it's called a "boot block jumper", this triggers ur computer to verify the floppy in case of a bios failure....the computer tries to find the bios source file in order to restore itself...

  • HI I am not sure if my email to you went through... I will pay for the info to make it ..

  • omg that's so awesome!!!!

  • Go to realdownloads4u(dot)net they give you the master password for bios of any laptop. Removing the battery of a laptop wont work. That only works on desktops.

  • Interesting. I doubt I would ever have to do this for my PC but being a computer administrator I often get used old cheap computers that have the bios-lockout feature.

This could possibly help and provide some entertainment. Cool video.

  • Is this a joke? You can just clear the CMOS and reset the BIOS passwd to null. WTF?

  • Panasonic Toughbook CF-71, floppy and cd disabled in bios and pw protected Help please??

  • What posses ppl to post a tech support question(or most ANY unrelated question) in a COMMENT for a video/ect.

Use Google to find a tech support forum!

  • Thanks! It helped me a lot!

  • Resetting a Toshiba BIOS Password KeyDisk will reset the BIOS password on Toshiba laptops. Older Toshiba laptops can be convinced to boot without their power-on BIOS password by attaching a dongle to the parallel port which crosses a number of the pins. The pin out is: Pins 1-5-10 2-11 3-17 4-12 6-16 7-13 8-14 9-15
  • do you know the number of the pins for dell insiron 6000?
