  • Looks like that could be a nasty crossing in the wrong conditions for an inexperienced driver,

  • @WeldinMike27 there has been a few accidents

  • @ajwhitton Thanks for the reply. We had a very nasty truck v train over here in vic a few years back. The truckie was found not at fault because of the crappy design of the crossing and the time of day.

  • Ok thanks for replying.

What do you think of Volvo compared to other trucks you driven?

  • I have only driven Volvo, UD & Ford trucks. Volvo are the best out of those for sure!

  • mate from my own experiances volvo r a bucket of bolts but they do make some good ones mainly the FH16 but that is my personel opion

  • How come they don´t use the biggest trucks in

Australia? They have the longest and heavyest trucks in the world but only (not only but very much from what i´ve seen in clips)use the FM series from example Volvo. Don´t they need the big and powerfull ones? In Sweden we have The Fm series mostly for Smaller wheigt and the FH Series for the haevy trucks.

  • There is a lot more FH Volvo's in Australia. My truck is only a rigid 20,000L Tanker. A lot a companies do use the FM for short distance Road Train work, but most long distance work is done by the FH. The reason I dont need a FH, is that i dont sleep in the truck (it does have a sleeper if need be) and I dont need a 16 litre motor. It would be nice though!!

    Thanks for the comment!
