nah you werent even tested. a dk, warrior, feral, or rogue never even really attacked you. until i see you do well in those scenarios. these fire mage videos are irrelevant.

You need yo use more frost nova and combustion. The secret to being a fire mage is critical using frost nova causes you to have three times crit chance. Frost nova, schorch, fire blast, livingbomb than combustion. Fire mages used to be just devestaing people with massive hits and when they get near useing your AEs but since they took that away for cat you have to take advantage of dots

I agree on the most part about frosts high crits but I do think that fire can hold its own if you know how to play it. I've taken down geared healers solo as a fire Mage many times. The frequent stuns are far more effective than having brain freeze for about 4 seconds or less if a player dispells. But to each his own.

K for you mage noobs out there. Frost is THE spec for arena's, it just is. With the amount of control and survivability that frost possesses, it is far superior to fire. HOWEVER, fire CAN be extremely viable in BG's, considering the "Rune-n-gun" play style.

In my honest opinion, fire is SOOOO much more fun to play than frost, but it just isn't viable in high rated arena.

the fact you have fire in pvp shows how much potential and skill you have frost mages, are just bad because i can burst enough only like two things for damage the others slow and snare them and lance is good if u have finger of frost. arcane and fire are fun too me im trying too do fire pvp just kinda bad at the mechanics atm.

His not that geared. My fire mage does 35k crit pyro he did just 25k on his video. YeS his using arcane/impact stats but his mistake is saying frost. Cause frost and Fire have the same stats and thats crit stacking. Arcane/shater or Arcane/impact dont stack crit cause they have the most crit withOut molten armor which makes them OP as shater user ^,..,^

Good strategy for keeping them in their freeze while doin the setup is actually usin dragons breath immediately after frost nova. It doesn't break the freeze and it keeps them from pulling any shenanigans while you're settin up your comb.

You are incorrect about fire not having burst and being able to eat healers. Frist thing you need to pvp as fire is around 20-25% crit with glyphs on top of that. With that you can proc far more pyro's. I've gotten 3-5 pyros at a time and when you DB dont cast fireball cast pryo. Burst rotation is LB,Scortch,DB,PB,bust,procs. Fire is by far the more bursty of the 3 specs if you gear right.

@coltsfan1116 I was about to make that same post.. imp COC speced shatter fire mage is BROOOOOKKKKEEENN... if you dont have one on your rated bg team then you are wrong. its like playing at the end of wrath in full wrathfull with 50% crit all over again. Seriously give it a try if you ahvent cause Nova, imp coc, dragons, ring of frost, impact stun, blazing speed/ mage ward blazing speed = wtffirebbq

well... the reason you cant kill healers is because you arnt in shatter spec.(triples damage to frozen target) this in combination with improved cone of cold which freezes also makes almost 100% scorchs, fire blasts and pyroblasts. this creates that burst damage you see in frost and arcane
