Great Job! The great thing is I can see you really "feel" the rythyms and that is great. Try playing with the song with headphones too. Keep practicing and try some good instructional DVD's like Tommy Igoe's Groove Essentials series and his Great Hands For A Lifetime. Most people can play rock, but great drummers learn many techniques. I think you have a good future as a drummer!

From being a teacher in this department for a decade "def not bragging" I would suggest Technique. His right hand on the Ride or the tamb is good. But when he is just playing 2 and 4 on the snare think what you're doing while that hand isn't plying, and the stoke your playing. (Sound quality...) Also he's playing the ride, (which is supposed to be loud? With the mid of his stick. Not stick bead on cymbal for correct sound.

Great job. can tell you have been working hard. But i noticed your thumbs facing upward alot. You should take some time to focus on how you hold your drumsticks, and practicing your stroke. its important to keep your palms down, and thumbs in when playing with your wrists. otherwise you could (over time) cause damage to your wrists. Also, proper technique will allow you to be that much better! (there are some good videos here on youtube about the proper way to grip your drumsticks)
