  • it needs an exhaust! haha would be awesome

  • why dont you do remote control without wires?

  • Next on the agenda? A Lego solid state thruster.

  • put the camera in the car and drive it :D

  • I KNOW WHAT YOU CAN DO

Get like 6 CO2 cans from those dum paintball guns, then get a servo powered pneumatic valve to run the pressure...lol

It will be short lived remote control then, but still fun! :D

  • instead of following the car with the pneumatic tubing...

  • u could add a lego air compressor powers by a power functions motor and battery box, with control of either direct control or remote control

  • :0

  • make it drift!

  • You need wireless... Good design though

  • dear santa....

  • What if you had mini compressed air tanks housed within the car itself? it would only run for a minute or so but who cares? this is awesome

  • too bad it's on a cable, you wouldn't have to run behind it to control it, but you have my respect anyway! amazing thing! and it's red too! xxD

  • that is the coolest tethered not so rc car ever

  • now make a transmission.

  • haha it has a cable

why not make it remote controlled

  • put an antenna in that shit son

  • when i said make a car. i didnt mean a small one

i was talking about one you can actually ride in.

  • lol peice fell off at 0:39

  • Make it do a wheelie

  • Now u need insurance...

  • glue parts together so it wont break :D

  • I want one.

  • why nor use rf control?

  • i wanna see it crash!

  • awesome it looks just like the real car

  • You should get a compressed co2 thing going in there, so you can just control it remotely without the wires\tubing going to it, then you can do some serious speed racing :)

  • cant wait untill u smash into something xD

  • cool

  • TOP SPEED?

  • you should try to sell this idea to lego, i would buy it for like 1000000000

  • You do great work on the engines (i made your 4 piston disign once, some years ago)

Dont know about the whole car though....im a purist

The wheels, the axels, and what else is not lego on this car? and how did you connect those m6 or m8 axels to the motor?

  • Real life: "Oh no, I crashed!" Two weeks and $5000 later the car is fine.

Lego: "Oh no, I crashed!" Two seconds and $0 later the car is fine.

    ...

    Reality sucks!

  • that thing is cool

  • Put an big airtank in it!

  • if you crash it must go into a hundred peaces

  • Any thoughts on the new Lego systems to create a bluetooth controlled version?

  • 2 people are idiots

  • is the mustang your own creation?

how long you need for the V8 and the mustang?

waht does it cost until both are ready ?

    its great!!

  • @labberle Yes, both are my creation. I am currently preparing the mustang as a product on LPEpower. Subscribe to the twitter feed to get updates on its progress. There's also some pics of the progress on LPEpower.

  • @nicjasno I have some ideas for your creation :

    1. use Powerfunctions IR components for the steering

2 build a big inner pump out of Power functions an cylinders

  • Why not make these cars Co2 powered? That way you can avoid having to run around with it while it drives. It seems as though it would be somewhat of an unpleasant toy having drive it that way.

  • Sweet mother of Jesus, you are a genius !

I'm impressed to the limits !

    Greetings from Poland :)

  • the car is not long enough

  • Can you make it radio controlled?

  • @the454engine2009 In my words, it would add a load of weight to the car, as in the receiver, possibly a CPU, and all that stuff. maybe he will, by adding armor, or whatever you can call it.

  • ohhhh, right at the end or owwww couldnt tell

  • wow dude :O

  • wat if it crashed?

  • @indycardino it did, on several ocasions. Some are even recorded in some other videos i posted. Go take a look. There's also a pic of it crashed on the LPEpower homepage.

  • @nicjasno thx

  • fucking hell at least crash it to make it interesting

  • YEAH LETS DO SOME DONUTS!!!!! BURNOUTS!!!!

  • This would be good for a rc crawler, because u stay with ur car.

  • thats pretty fast... make it rc.. got enough space for that in the back.

  • put a trailer on it and strap a paintball air tank and make a valve to controll throttle then make it rc. :)

  • Next time the camera should be placed on another R/C vehicle, to give it a more inside feeling.

  • i would love to see thatt thing crash n explode into pieces lol. sorry its cool tho :]

  • i agree with that :D but then the dear owner would explode in pieces... :D the much work is gone in secs... xD but anyway, if once the owner decides to crash it, we'd love to see a vid about it ;) :DDD

  • nice rims

  • wow AWESOME............XD

  • you need to get some flowmasters on there

  • awesome stuff!

  • THAT WAS THE BEST CLIP ON YOU TUBE!!!!

I LIVE IT!! my v8's are not powerd by air but now i will get the stuff to build one!! thanks!!!

  • That is pretty fucking impressive dude. You have that Pneumatic engine inside that and an electronic stearing with a motor. Do you have an electronic gear shifter in it too??

  • I think a small paintball cylinder would be a neat way of powering this car. You can regulate it down to whatever pressure you need, would get quite a lot of runtime out of it...

  • you should use a proper r/c transmitter, receiver and servos and only have the air hose dangling

  • LMAO if it crashes it blows up like a real car.

  • its kinda slow..

  • It never ran on full throttle. The steering with 2 buttons for left and right is very unsuitable to run it in my tight backyard. Untill i get servo motors installed, this is as fast as i dare to run it.

  • ok ;) cant wait for your next vid :D

  • can you drift with it. that would be awesome

  • There's more than 3 videos showing it drift. Check the rest of them.

  • I love lego! This is a brilliant concept! I was at your site and must say that engine if fantastic.

But like SvenneTheBlockhead said, the pipe is a problem as it limits the freedom the car has.

Why don't you try to build a small bottle with compressed in the luggage compratment of the car, couple it to an r/c servo, a receiver and a small battery pack to power both receiver and servos: one to open the compressed air bottle and the other to steer the wheels ? The best of both worlds!

  • The pipe from the air compressor is a big problem. Have you tried building a small compressor to fit inside the car?

  • The wire is a real problem. You have try electric to powered the car ? Maybe with Old Ir and servo lego.

but nice car eand awesome engine !

  • The wire isn't such a big deal. Infra Red is a REAL problem. It was the cause of most of the crashes that the car endured. The whole point of this is to have the car pneumatic powered. Everybody can make it electric powered.

  • yeah, I receiver is bad with sun. pneumatic engine is THE technologic revolution to powered the car.

The steering is with simple electric engine or servo ?

  • The steering is done with a small power functions motor.

  • why not just go to a hobby store and buy an rc servo kit?

  • I will. That's the plan.

  • Very nice Alex! Good maneuvering, and good'ole wires are so much better for this, than PF's.

  • It's an approximate scale to the real car. I restyled the car from the previous videos and completly changed the suspension. The car is now 4 studs narrower and 1 stud lower. It has a solid rear axle and a macpherson front suspension.

  • Wow nice!

  • did u change the body?

  • its very quiet

    thats a sharp turn!

is that scale to real cars?
