I think this is a big misunderstanding for some people. I just saw Jennifer on Oprah and she said she added a photo of Beyonce to her Grammy and Oscar display. I read a comment that speculated that maybe Jennifer & Beyonce had a conversation before her speech that inspired or encouraged Beyonce to thank her family in a more profound way. That sounds like a reasonable explanation. Obviously there is a positive relationship betweeen the two ladies.

1) Why are people arguing about that girl thanking her family? She's always thanked her family because they're a huge part of her success. If she never thanked her closest blood relatives like her Mom, Dad, sister (& now her nephew who's probably almost like a son to her) then it's about time she did so. I've heard her thank her Mom & Dad before. She works w/ her sister more now than before & her nephew is her newest family member. It made sense to thank them. Beyonce happens to have the same family members that Jennifer lost and has the right to thank them.

Beyonce has no children of her own so her nephew is the next best thing. She's talked about him on several talk show appearances since he was born and even mentions him in one of her commercials. Obviously he is a big part of her life. I felt the same about my neice. Even though I later had my own child, she will always be very special. so true & the ppl that hate on her prob love rihanna..which has NO stage presence & is one of the most noring entertainers i've ever seen..i'm not a die hard beyonce fan but u can NOT deny the passion that girl brings to the stage..she's a church girl, i really don't think she would wish any ill will towards jennifer!!

i think ppl r reading wayyy to much into it...in my opinion i think she was nervous because she knew she would thank her family but yet had jennifer's situation in mind...she did give credit to all the woman who were nominated..jennifer's situation is sad but that's not gonna b the last time she hears ppl thanking their families..ppl just want 2 find a reason 2 bash beyonce

I agree, ppl act if Jennifer Hudson is in the house you are not allowed to talk about your family WTF? If I loose my phone today and you still have yours, so just because Im here you wont use yours? C'mon ppl thats LIFE! She moved on, move on too! I swear Beyoncé is really OVERANALYZED, I thought she was cute and thankful for her family which is the only thing she really has. How can ppl look at it as a shade for JHud, I mean, please! Poor Beyoncé! They attack her every move!

I'm a huge B fan!!! BUTTTT the way she went on about her family must of had people say "HEY, what the hell do you think J Hudson is going through?" She shouldn't of bragged on about her family the way she did!
