when i was younger i loved frogstomp and couldnt get into these songs till now. probably becuz i finally grown up and can understand. . these guys are still playing and i love it. great video man
the guys cut a new studio version of this for the 10 year expanded aniversary edition of Neon Ballroom that's coming out in 2010 and he nailed the vocal, he just chooses not to sing it with the old melody live.
it's mind-blowing to think that Daniel played this song for the first time for the American audience in 1999 when he was struggling hard with his disease and every performance was very painful for him, exacerbating his condition, and now, a few years later, he's cured and strong again and makes the music he wants to make
you can't really find a better inspiration for people with similar issues

now if chris somehow learned to play a double bass instead of regular acoustic bass (which just doesnt have a nice sound, sorry) and paul mac played a real piano then they would be awesome unplugged!
in an interview ben said that daniel had started writing again and that they probably wont have much of a break in between ym n the new record so hopefully we dont have to wait long

I love the new vocal twist he does at the end now! Such an amazing voice! Can't wait for a new album...they keep getting better and better!
