In my thoughts i'm kissing your hand and your "compressed" lips ( meaning that she is in the coffin and her lips are presses with each other. He wrote this song - he was far away from his mum and couldn't make it to the funeral and in the song he is expressing the love to his mother he couldn't express when she was alive and apologies to her. IT's extremely touching and very sad.
