  • 1) These are Royal 22nd Regiment Infanteers "Van Doos" CANADIANS

    2) This is on a Rocket Range in CANADA not Afghanistan

    3) The Eryx Missile is a product of FRANCE and is used by Canada and other NATO nations. The Eryx is a very effective anti-tank weapon but just like every other weapon system out there such as TOW or Javelin, you will get Duds or misfires at one time or another.

You cannot criticize the soldiers for a weapon failing nor even the Factory. It's just a fact of life.

  • omg it's so farrrrr away!

  • Oh, before I forget, that shit is made in France, we just buy them.

I think we are better equipped individually than the Americans, even though our vehicles are not as good, we are taking less casualties in Afghanistan than the Americans, Oh right, the AMERICANS are not in Kandahar are they? The most volatile region in the country.

  • I wonder if French-made pistols occasionally have the bullets fall to the ground a few inches out of the gun barrel.

  • be thankful that those missiles are the only thing we buy from france.

  • What mr Lee3nfi3ld saying is right. Canadians spend 13 weeks in BMQ (Boot camp for you American smart fellows)and another 6 months for infantry training.

Our special operations regiment is the equivalent to the US army Rangers, but better, as it's operation capabilities are at the US special forces level.

JTF2, as good as if not better than Delta Force and the SAS.

Lastly, they failed that one probably because they forgot to arm it.

  • Not to be a dick here, and I'm being serious when I say that, but assuming that this weapon didn't malfunction don't you think it's a problem that they forgot to arm it?

  • well it's like people forgetting to pull the handbrake when before they back away from their garage.

Though it is plausible that the weapon malfunctioned and I just didn't catch it when I posted. As you see, the missile should have launched at least a few meters away before it fires its 'thrusters', but this missile fell out like you see in comedy skits,

    Shit happens to everybody. lol

  • if that's the best they can do...

just imagine what they can do with an american TOW missile launcher!

  • lmao. haha

  • I don't care what you all say.. I thuoght this was funny as shit.

  • Eryx can shoot at 95% chance to hit a tank at 400km/h 50-600 meters (Or more ) and penetrate 900mm armour. Imagine a RPG-7 can destroyed the best protection tank in the world from Israel called " merkava " who can ONLY penetrate 500mm..imagine the Eryx who cost lot of money. This video are bullshit this guy don't know what he doing i speak french and he said " What i suposed to do " because ERYX are so expensive ,the studen can only shot 1 missile per years.

  • So don't called this missile a bullshit

  • are you american? canadian hater? or a dumass?

  • So what big deal I seen the American weapon's Back fire and its way worse for them

  • oohh man it sucks not being equiped like the americans

  • we simply can't it's just too financially draining, because we're only 30 million and our GDP is much less then the americans, plus we're the 2nd biggest nation in the world so less money goes to the government, unless you want to pay more tax. Also americans living outside still pay taxes on their income to their government, canadians outside don't pay taxes to canada anymore only services for passport and small stuff like that.

  • we might not be equiped like the Americans but our average soldier is better then a us marine and our special forces are much much better then the seals also you dont hear of the C-7 exploding in your faces like the m-16

  • They are made by the same company... And I have never heard of a M16 blowing up in someones face.

  • oh rly iv seen vids of m16 backfiring and blowing up in peoples faces and there not made by the same company

  • Canadian soldiers want to be soldiers. There isn't a lot of social or economic pressure to become a soldier in Canada. Americans do it to prepare for a political career, can't get a civilian job, or movies and video games make it look cool.

  • lol, thats us!

  • i would be shittin myself

  • So its American By the way we just bought it from you, and what? the 2% chance that happens? and what does this have to do with the french? and its an awsome piece of equipment dumb shit

  • its a Canadian and French Missile and launching system known as the Eyrx.

    ~Thanato

  • dont try to make Canadian look bad dumb shit, ur using same equipment

  • Holy crap, that is about the scariest thing that can happen in training.

  • flubeca en bon quebois tes juste un ostie de troue de cul les quebecois ses des soldat des mieux entrainés dans le monde faque ferme ta crisse de grande yeule .

  • These aren't canadian missles. Fucking bullshit American technology. Hope "zetre" Can fix the title.

  • Actualy its the Eryx a joint Canadian and French investment.

    ~Thanato

  • Actualy its the Eryx a joint Canadian and French investment.

    ~Thanato
