Forget about that, I have a better and probably more efective method. Put the menthos pill or the baking soda, depending of what you are going to fill the bottles with, inside a plastic bag, small enough so it could fit thru the neck of the bottles, tie it with dental floss, insert it in the bottle and let hang it by the floss on the middle or the middle-upper part, tie the floss by the neck, close the bottle, hang it on the tree and, finally, shoot thru the bottle and hit the reactive sack.

You should try shooting cola sodas with hollow point bullets incrusted with menthos, or vinegar filled bottles being shot with baking soda inctrusted JHPs.

I just wonder if both methods could make the liquid go fizzy and foamy. I know that it sounds stupid and even risky, but could be interesting.

There's no way you honestly believe that even 50 years ago when people were still poopin in the woods we could get an exact read of the global temp. Even now, Google your town's current temp and click on the 4 most well-known sites. You will get 4 different answers with temps that vary about 5 degrees. Look into how this data is collected and you will see all the holes in it.
