  • Nadie da eso como punta en línea... ataque no, contraataque

  • Attack from the right is parried (albeit weakly) by fencer on the left - this gives priority to the left for his riposte to score - point therefore to the left. The point in line hit from the right fencer is therefore a renewal after the left fencer's riposte.

  • Attack from right no

counter attack from left touche point

  • @flickeringlamppost nope, parry riposte left

  • attack no, counter attack arise touche left

  • I was under the impression that a point in line established at the end of an attack does not take priority over an immediate counterattack.

  • If left parry, then point left

    No blade engagement point right

  • Attack right, maintains point in line, left counter attack, no parry - point right. Left fencer does a half retreat does not parry. Right fencer maintains point in line.

  • Attack non, contre attack touche

    Leftside gets a point

  • I would say point left.

    Right's attack has stopped.

    reposte left touche.

Then again he doesnt pull his arm back and there is no parry, its just weither its seen as an 'all in one' attack.

  • First Attack (from right) NON!

    Counter-Attack (from left) Touche

The left guy gets the point. it's easy

  • Comment removed

  • Point en ligne vers gauche, non correcte de gauche, touche gauche, point droit.

  • there was no parry, it was just incidental blade contact after the touch. the video is demonstrating point in line after the lunge which many referees do not call

  • @sanoichiro1 the coming together of blades was clearly not incidental - left fencer can be seen to attempt a parry, albeit weakly. Therefore the priority is his and his riposte scores.

  • attack from right is short ending in the establishment of point in line right

    left attacks into PiL.

    Touch right

this is the (current?) official fie ruling on this action

  • @ejemyr wats PiL

  • attack from the right.

    parried from the left.

    riposte from the left.

remise from the right has no right of way.

    touch left.

  • Attack from the right is no

    (remains point in line)

point in line lands, point to the right.

  • dammit i was right about the point in line.

  • right attack. no

preise de fare left flick (right of way)

    remease right.

    or point in line,(right)

    mall parrey from left

    impailment,

    touch right. grr

i still think it s a failed attack but some are more sensitive to point in lines then others.
