I was looking forward to seeing both of these movies just before they came out. I watched Gran Torino and then, the next day, Up. Imagine my surprise when a cynical old man and his young asian sidekick help deal with each others problems... and then it happened again except with a G-rating. Weirdest synchronisity since Dennis the Menace (look it up).
