  • did the body come with working tail lights? when I search scx10 hummer on ebay i get up a couple of bodies but all it says only working front lights...

  • what tires are thoughs?

  • 2.2 RC4WD Mud Slinger tires, nice, really does fill out the H2 body since the 1.9's are a bit small.

  • Anyone have any ideas on where i can purchase a hummer h1 / h2 body for my Axial Scx10?

  • @jleaver7 Ebay, thats where I got my H2 Hummer body for my SCX10, type in hummer scx-10.

  • I just like the little self-righting manuvers around 1:55 and 2:15

  • How did you get the body to stay on the body posts?

  • I didn't do the body mod on this truck, but the guy made aluminum brackets that he attached to the body interior and screwed to the chassis rails. He had to unscrew four screws in otder to change batteries.

  • did the hummer fit ok and how did u do the body monts

  • The hummer body fit perfectly, but I don't know exactly how he mounted the body. It belongs to someone else.

  • Awesome! Hey icecreamslick, which SCX10 is that, can you please give me the measurement of the wheel base from wheel nut to wheel not? I read somehwere not all the Axial SCX10 doesn't have the same length. I have the Hummer body, I just wanna make sure the SCX10 I'm going tobuy is the rigth one.

  • can you send me the link on where you bought the steel gears for the tranny please :D

  • I got mine several months ago on Ebay. If you go there, search for 'Axial steel gear set' and you should find them.

  • and do you have any build threar of it?

  • No, it was a straight forward SCX10 so there is no build thread.

  • what do you think is the high speed of your truck?

  • Its still geared as a trail truck/crawler, so it is slow. Maybe 10mph, but I'm not sure.

  • Yes, they are 2.2 wheels and we are running the stock tranny with steel gears.

  • are those 2.2 wheels? and are you running stock tranny?

  • nice rig bro. great bashing!

  • where did u get it and how much did it cost?

  • This truck is an Axial SCX10 that you can buy for somewhere around $250. The motor and ESC are Traxxas Velineon and cost about $125. The body is from a New Bright RC truck and may be hard to find by itself. Not sure of the cost. Other than those things, you still need your own transmitter and receiver. If you are starting from nothing you'd probably need to put around $500 into it to get something similar if you include truck, electronics, body, battery and charger.

  • cool vid i am hoping to get a honcho soon

  • Cool. I have the same exact setup, but with proline tires. These things rock!

  • I was going to sell mine but you may have just conveinced me to keep it! Nice video.

  • I'm glad! With the right set-up this truck is a blast. : )

  • where do you get those body?

  • The Red body came with the Axial SCX-10 Honcho and the yellow H2 body came from a New Bright RC truck. : )

  • what motor? cool vid

  • The motor is a water-proof Velineon brushless system on 2s LiPo. : )

  • That must have been tough to clean after rolling around in the sand!

  • Actually, that's the coolest part! We literally just dunk the trucks in the water to completely wash everything off. : )

  • Badass. Thing is tho the wheels are too big to be scale-looking.

  • Wasnt trying for 100% scale. Just wanted it to look good and to be extremely capable. Alot of stuff I get into would not be possible with small tires. I have the smaller tires and have tried them, but this way is my favorite. For the guys that like slow dirt/rock trails small is fine tho. We will be getting more footage this week. And icecreamslick, great job as always. This week will be showing both trucks again. T

  • I'm glad you liked it. : )

  • I think it would look kind of funny with smaller wheels and tires. : )

  • your crawling videos always rock!

  • Thanks! Making and watching the videos is almost as much fun as driving these trucks in whatever nature can dish out. : )
