Has it ever occured to one of you that even today there is no nudity on openly broadcasted american television, how do you expect there to be nudity in openly viewable films 80 years ago? Are you people stupid?
@JohnnyBoy501 It is far more easy to kick out a minor from a cinema or a theatre than prevent him/her efficiently to watch TV! That is maybe why television broadcast doesn't show nude! Unless you have competition with CineGraphic!
This is a SOUNDIE film, precursor to MTV's music videos. They were played on machines called Panorams. Panorams were found in bars, restaurants and etc.
This is fabulous!

I love the Andrew Sisters' version. In the actual burlesque shows the dancers did reveal almost everything. Apart from their panties I think.
Anyway, a true burlesque show would be art compared to the no brains all-nude pole dancing where they have nothing left to strip with.

I would think she'd be a burlesque dancer, rather than dubbed a stripper :|

Actually, the music is played in 2/4 time, as are all polkas.

Wow. Where were they ever able to play this? You couldn't say pregnant on the I love Lucy Show. They wouldn't have had this in a movie at the time.
It must have been some underground film.
