Thanks for posting this, created using the Yamaha TX81Z - a cool FM synth. The producer Babyface at one point had two TX81Z units in his studio, both of which he kept set to a bass patch, one detuned from the other. This became a part of his signature sound. The best synth patches for this classic synth can be found at manymidi.com
Really great stuff. It somewhat reminds me of music by German musician called Karsten Koch. Namely the music he did for games Flying Tigers (side scrolling shoot'em up) and Outer Ridge (some kind of 3D asteroids). Soundtracks from both of those games (in mod format) can be downloaded from his web page (though he asks for email adresses etc.).
@rexineffex Thanks, this is one of mine, although the influences can be heard. Its like the Thompson Twins, Depeche Mode and Ralph Vaughan Williams were there.
