i always thought "the devil rides out" was a western movie. kinda sounds like the title a western movie would get. i remember a movie with rachel welch, a weird, abstract sort of western where she be came a gun fighter, and a man in black started following her about. at one point he saved her life, but he never spoke. at the end of the movie, the camera panned back, and he was following her at a distance as they rode their horses. that was a really great movie, too - very abstract in many ways.

@qwyzl That movie was called "Hannie Caulder",and was an excellent movie with Welch playing a woman looking for revenge against the ones that killed her husband and raped her years before!I seen it way back in the day and thought that it was a huge change from the movie parts that she usually played...she was great in Hannie Caulder though!This movie here called the Devil rides out...when I first sen it,it was called "The devil's bride"!Fantastic movie!!!Enjoy your movies...Cheers \_/ 2 ya :-)

@kyteddy1 I think that movie, "Hannie Caulder" had Christopher Lee in it, if I remember correctly what I read somewhere recently. I know I once saw a western with him in it playing a relatively minor role as a gunsmith.

I last saw this film late night on BBC2 in the 1970's. I think this was the best Hammer Film ever made. Thank you for posting this!

Can't beat hammer horror. Good film, only drawback is Cushing wasn't in it. Cushing and Lee are in 22 films together in total. They both play heroes in the underated Hammer horror film HORROR EXPRESS 1972-type that in to watch, its on here! The Creeping Flesh and Dr terrors House of Horrors were 2 other cracking films with them 2 in. Theres others aswell of course. Legends both of them.

Wonderfullllll movie here with Sir Christopher Lee!!!I seen this movie when it was first released under the name of "the devils bride" at my hometown theater that was torn down about 20 years ago......It sure does bring back some nice memories,Thanks for the post :-)

That was a good one.. I really enjoyed the somewhat accurateness to the "spiritual" battle.. although I'm a little bothered by them being a little too accurate with the props (for example the black candles)
