are flaps optional or not really? and if not (i know it was already mentioned) its alright to use a DX6i on one of those single position switches it has? looking foward to purchasing this airplane
@rfalls86 If you still do not know what they do then this model is probably not for your skill level. To answer your question, flaps create extra lift (and drag) and no, the retracts are not stock.
looks like a really nice plane! Next summer I will have to try one of these! Retracts look really nice and would be fun to use! Also, I haven't had a plane with flaps yet, so that would be a great 'step-up'! Nice video!
wow nice beechcraft , nice retracts,i need that too.i was also wondering when my sukhoi would come, i ordred it when it said it was due mid october, n e-mail or box at my door, i hate to ask but i cant wait, when will this product ship out!
When you think about it John's electric retracts are a very nice idea, just plug into the rx, no linkage, no extra servos. I wonder if we can do that with larger models??
Why don't you go to the Horizon Hobby web site and total it up with the parts that you want. Retracts, speed control, motor, interior package, little bit of glue.
John says it takes about 8 hours. But in looking at it I think that is because there is some cool stuff you can do, like installing the retracts. But it does take a couple hours or so to put the radio in an ARF and get it setup correctly. Nothing hard about it, just fun stuff.
Man-o-man, to have unlimited funds.....Unfortunately, not for me right now, but i have a friend who flies Nitro and has been asking me to look into a good scale electric, this would fit his criteria, gotta show him this vid, i'm sure he'd love this one :-)
Hello Horizon,
i MUSST have this plane - like i must have my Rhapsody ;-)
Is the Bonanza even going with the P 25 ? I have one in stock.

Flaps are required. They come prehinged out of the box. Yes, you can use the flap switch on the DX6i with no problem at all.

It comes standard with fixed gear, retracts are option parts.
