This song came out in the 1940s by Louis Jordan. Several covers were done over the years including Bill Haley in the 1950s who was the 3rd to do the song.

I think that's because they always have their band and singers doing the actual singing, not the recordings.

That is not the Bill Haley recording of Choo Choo Ch'Boogie by the way (correcting the description which was flagging this as Bill Haley-related video). It's some generic version.

The house singers mostly perform the singing on DWTS. However the songs are always listed with the original artist whenever possible which is why Bill Haley is credited

I keep watching this over and over! I just love it...and I know, that was Donny Jr...or I should say Don, behing Jay. His second son was in the front row....
