  • i purchased a littleton the worst one in the store!

  • PEOPLE: DO NOT BUY THIS FAN. Crapton Bay is JUNK. Go buy a hunter, litex, monte carlo, emerson, or casablanca, or any good brands.

  • @jonahmusto Disagree. Mine's been functioning fine. For the price paid (about $65), I feel it's worth it.

  • @phototristan But it won't last long

  • @jonahmusto jonah musto you need to stop saying go and buy a hunter or something else people dont need your stuff. keep it to yourself and you can go and buy something else people can buy what ever they want

  • @Kareensan I was helping people not to buy a cheap chinese junk. Unblock me.

  • @jonahmusto Why do you hate Hampton Bay ceiling fans? And this time don't use your "Cheap chinese junk" reply!

  • @mazda9624 I have seen a lot of bad report and I saw a broken one at the Home Depot Nursery.

  • It's a Crapton Bay Glendale

  • I just purchased this exact Fan at Home Depot in July. And this Hampton Day Glendale is very Affordable with an Expensive look

  • @CRobertGray I agree! I originally was looking at some fancy stainless steel looking ones from Modern Fan and other place but they use small candlabra light sockets. Not enough light output to use over a dining table.

I did find some really nice ones that use a single halogen light at Room and Board which should be enough light, but those fans were like $500.+.

The fact that this one seems to match my table and shelf and the price was under $100., really made it a no brainer for me.

  • PS, these bulbs work in many lamps and light fixtures and they look cool. Check 'em out!

  • The spherical bulbs and silver grating of the motor do make it look pretty steam-punk, though it seems out of place against the whiteness of the ceilings and walls.

Personally, I prefer a more homey, cozy aesthetic for homemaking with less whiteness. There's just something about being surrounded by yellowish, subdued light in a smallish room. The more wood color, the better. Maybe it's because I associate white walls with work. That's just me, though.

  • @BirdValiant I agree, my walls and ceiling are too white. I'm painting the place soon. Many of the walls and ceiling will still be white but a better white, not as bright.
