  • @X66B3 Thankyou very much for watching. Best wishes - Peter :)

  • Thank you so much for this. As a self-taught player, this explaination is most valuable to me.

I am doing my little part in keeping these wonderful instruments in operation; you are helping those with these organs make the most of them.

    Keep up the great work!

    Best regards, Bob

  • @bobmann107 You are very welcome, Bob. Thank you for watching, and for your kind comments. Good luck with your playing, and from Kathy & myself in Sweden, we wish you - "Happy Music!!" - Best Regards, Peter :)

  • Thanks Peter for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us,I am now inspired to blow the cobwebs off my Yamaha EL70 and re-acquaint myself with it - Happy music to you Peter, and thankyou again. David.

  • @Darwenhypnotherapy You're really welcome, David. Have fun 're-discovering' your Yamaha EL70, and thanks for watching my videos. Very best wishes from us in Sweden - Peter.

  • Another great video. And seeing that you get views and comments proves that the organ is still alive :)

I hope it gets more alive again in the next decade.

  • @SilverHammond Thanks for listening, and for your comments. The organ MAY make a 'come-back' - but as a true organ sound... drawbars, etc. as new groups opt for the 60's sound.

In my opinion, the days of the all-singing, all-dancing 'orchestral' organ have been numbered ever since we started advertising them as being so SIMPLE to play with only one-finger.... and that was forty years ago.

    Best wishes, Peter.

  • @HaywardMusic "In my opinion, the days of the all-singing, all-dancing 'orchestral' organ have been numbered ever since we started advertising them as being so SIMPLE to play with only one-finger...."

Yeah, why buy an organ costing 15.000 euro, when a keyboard costing € 2.000 can also be played with one finger... I'm going to hang on to my Hammond XH-200 for some time, and put a full XK-3C (or successor) next to it in times to come.

    Thank you for your video's.

  • this is very good, and importante! - Levi

  • @MrKeys57 Many thanks, Levi. Glad midsommar. Hälsningar - Peter

  • Thanks for posting! This is going to be a big help for playing my Wersi in Hammond-style!

  • @Thedaanvo You are really welcome. Thanks for watching, and enjoy playing 'Hammond' on your Wersi. All best wishes - Peter.

  • Too bad Hammond Organ Company discontinued this organ model. It was very competitive in price for a delux digital spinet organ, just under $13,000 in America back then. I love the style and modern contemporary design! It sounds great too!
