It's not too hard. I'm 11 and first started programming when I saw how cool HTML looked. Now I know HTML and currently reading a book on CSS. Going to work on my dad's website and probably get involved with Java too. Idk about C++, Java is more interesting imo.

Are all nerds mature, lol? I'm in Middle School now and I hardly talk, use my manners, and be nice to everybody. I play a whole lot of games too, Counter Strike Source, Garry's Mod, RuneScape, etc. I feel like I should be a teen :/.

Programming is problem solving, and there are a whole lot of problems that can be solved easier and faster using C# or Java rather than C. I have a hard time believing that only the languages that rub up against the hardware can be considered "real" languages. Each language is a tool in a programmer's toolbox, there is no one-size-fits-all solution to any software problem.

She is not a programmer. Shes an MCP. MCPs are not programmers. I bet she just picked up a book and memorized the whole thing (something which Pakis are good at) and then took the exam without much knowledge of its concept. I have known many MCP/MCSEs who passed that way and dont know crap.

To be an MCP, you simply need to obtain one of the dozen or so Microsoft's certifications. The guy interviewing obviously had no idea how it works. I would be surprised if she was a MCPD - Microsoft Certified Professional Developer. But MCAD is an accomplishment for a 11 year old as well, although I was 8 when I started with Pascal.
