Avagy magyarosan "Nem találok szavakat" :)

    Ami jó!, az jó!!

  • @cody1800212 Thats a fucking goat not a demon. :P

  • Where can I buy a duda?

  • @AmyRoseHot Lemme guess: Hungaria. (I call it that just to avoid confusion with "hungry".)

  • Great!

    An interesting bagpipe sound.

  • Gle Mhath!!!!

This is beautiful, thank you for all of these wonderful videos!

I have a question though, i already play the Great Highland Bagpipes and i was wondering how long it took you to learn the Duda, and how hard it is to learn?

  • Tapadh leat!

I didn't find the duda hard to learn, you just have to get used to using your little finger separately from the others! The closed fingering is IMO even more comfortable to play than half closed or open fingering.

  • A' bheil Gaidhlig agad?

Thats good, but where do you get your sheet music for it and where did you learn to play it?

  • Trying to provoke me? Not gonna happen - I'm Austrian.

Before you call me a thief, I suggest you READ the info. I clearly state that this type of instrument exists from the Tatra mountains all the way down to Croatia. What makes THIS instrument Hungarian is the flea hole on the chanter - it's exclusively used by Hungarians.

Now, even if you CAN prove me the opposite, I suggest you keep your nationalistic views for yourself and let this channel make MUSIC, not politics. D'akujem.

  • I love theese czechoslovakian sounds!

    :)))

  • You have a lot of hate in your soul!...Enjoy the sound ( THOSE ARE HUNGARIAN TUNES) case closed...I refer to you TheDjrock...

  • Do you play fully or half closed? Sorry, but I can't tell from the video

  • Fully closed - as with all single beating bagpipes from Central Europe.

  • Thanks for the reply. I play the säckpipa either fully open or fully closed, but my teacher doesn't approve of that.. so I was just wondering if that's usual for other single reed-players:)

    A + Claude.

    A + Claude.

( excuse my German language, but I am even null in English),

    A + Claude.

  • Very nice playing! Where are you located?

  • Hiába... hihetetlen jó hangszer a duda. Főleg a magyar.

  • very well done! I play the Uilleann bagpipes and im surprised how different these are.

  • very good player. i am very impressed. i would like to know how do you play the dot notes?( without embellishment, sust dot notes)fantastic.

  • Do you mean the staccato notes?

  • yes staccato notes..i am stupid i am italian and i use english words.. sorry

  • Doesn't matter;) The notes are produced by means of the "closed fingering" this bagpipe (along with most Central and East European bagpipes) uses. It means that only one hole is opened at the time, thus allowing the player to produce staccato notes.

  • Wow! Where in the world did you get all these beautiful instruments and how did you afford them? Also, are there any bagpipes where the chanter is played like a penny whistle or recorder, (with more than one open note?)

  • Wonderful! You have the most fascinating sets of pipes!

  • We always had to sing this in school :)

    lyrics for the song:

"Who wanna be a bagpiper,he have to go to hell, there he have to study how to blow the pipe.Who wanna be a bagpiper,he have to go to hell. There are the tapewormed dogs.Good pipes made of tapewormed dogs."

  • I am a highland piper with Hungarian ancestry and you just made that part of me very happy!

  • I love the nepzene kind regard Laszlo

  • Nagyon jól nyomod. This culture is awsome man.

  • do you play highland bagpipes ?

  • Awesome set of pipes!

  • Very Good! I love the sound of the Duda.

  • Gyönyörűen játszol, köszi hogy felraktad!

  • Good example of Palóc type pipes. I play as well, but my pipes are so poorly made that the parts never work together all at once. Very nice.

  • nagyon szep pajtas ! bravo !

  • great playing!

  • Thanks for posting your excellent video. As a player of the Great Highland, Lowland/Borders bellows and Irish Uilleann pipes, I can confirm how rare it is to be able to hear the lesser known, Northern and Eastern/Near East pipe forms, let alone see them being played.

    Very nice set and performance.

    Cheers.

  • saximyaxe is right, except Pakistan's bagpipes are horrible.

  • Truly awesome! As a Hungarian, its a pleasure to see you playing this old instrument of our culture :)

  • Great. How did you learn Hungarian piping so well in Austria? Do you have plastic reeds in your Hungarian set? Miki

  • Wunderbar! Great job, congratulations!

  • Hallo, Freund vereno1986!.
