I've seen clouds like that TWICE. The white area being a second bank pressed up under the dark one, extending real low (when I saw it, it actually was low enough to block my view across the bay!)
Right after that flash 23 seconds into the video you mentioned your power went out. It's like danaus said. Its hard to spot a tornado int he SE corner w/ trees and buildings.
Very nice video, am curious if you have more? What direction are you facing? and what aprx. location where you at? NWS now upgraded the tornado to an EF-4
Holy shit thats a large wall cloud, its a tornado, thats a tornado, ur town is lucky the tornado formed to late to pass right over ur house that should be a monster A MONSTER!
I live on the other side of Hillcrest Church and I couldn't see that it was a tornado because it was so freaking huge. Weeks Dr. got no damage at all. My husband and a couple of our neighbors went outside to see if we could spot anything and saw the same thing you captured only closer. Amazing footage.
Interesting video that shows the problems spotting a tornado in the SE with trees and buildings. Notice the power flash (23 sec into the video) in the upper right corner of the screen and above the distant red car. I powerflash under a lowering is suspicious of tornadic activity. Thanks for posting.

I think that flash was the transformer blowing that caused your power to go out (notice how it happens right after you see the flash!)

Did you notice that there was a power flash on the right. That's how I knew that there was one. You must have been lucky
