Whoever's making comments about the definition, its fine the way it is. I like what I'm looking at not because of the resolution but because of what's on the video.
Well, not to nitpick, but it's not HD -- it's clearly the 4:3 standard definition feed. I mean, it's still very nice quality... but not high definition.
well as long as i get the youtube HD button, also i watched it in wide screen high definition on the same recording where this clip is from, idk how to get the widescreen recording
Well first of all, it's not just that it isn't widescreen -- the resolution itself is way below that of HD, clearly.
As for the YouTube HD button, you realize that has nothing to do with the actual video quality, right? You can up-convert ANY video to 1280x720 or higher, and it fools YouTube into treating it as HD. Granted, you can actually get the most out of SD video that way, as YouTube won't compress it as much.
But the original video itself was never in HD, so your title is misleading.
it lost quality in the encoding process, i cant see how it would look like on youtube until it uploads, i cut and edited the clip from a 16:9 HD recording that was of increadable wuality, i titled it HD because thats what it looked like before i uploaded
Oh... well no offense, but why in the world did you do that?? Why would you crop it to 4:3, and encode it in such a manner that it lost quality? YouTube supports widescreen HD now...
Wait, I just realized I may have misunderstood something -- are you blaming YouTube's encoding process for the loss of quality? Because there's no way that's the case. Just look at other people's HD race coverage, and you'll see that YouTube's HD encoding does NOT lower the quality to that extent.
I'm sorry, but the only explanation for the loss of resolution and/or quality here is YOUR encoding. The clip had to look like this BEFORE you uploaded it -- and you made it 4:3, which is puzzling.

Why is he racing the 16? Isn't that Biffle's car? Sorry for my ignorance, not the biggest follower of NASCAR.
