I was watching your epic 4-parter. I played this in approx 1987 when I was in primary school and the bits I remember the most was the FIG house and the 4 dragons. I managed to solve the dragons but it must had taken me 20-odd tries lol. Thanks goodness for the password option.
I'm loving how you put this all together, inserting nice music, while maintaining some of the original game elements such as the sound you hear when the witch comes out. Very nice touch :-) What was your ending music?
@Monstoday All of the music I used is shown at the end of the 4th part. I can't remember off-hand now, it's been a couple of years since I made those videos!
(Apologies for the late reply too, I haven't checked my messages in quite a while...)
This game really scared me as a kid, because of the witch and the weird scream/tune that played and it was your fault for getting caught. I ended up refusing to play. I thought the game had some maths in it, perhaps they made another one as well.
Haha, it works, now. I remember on the Acorn thing when I was only little, the witch music had an evil drone and quite frightening music compared to all the other ports. Scared us lifeless.
This version's on the ZX Spectrum, but its also on a bunch of other systems like that BBC computer thingie. See the updated video description for a full playthrough!
Still, when GameVee actually loads videos, the quality is about a thousand times better. Especially with my other school maze video, where youtube totally murdered the sound levels and blurred all the text. It's a double-edged sword, I guess, except there's no sword.
You need to do the Achoo part lol

That's a really secret cave. It's impossible to avoid seeing it, even in your own mind, and once you get in there's a pink neon sign :D

Darnit. Let's try again!
I've updated the video description link again, this time to GameVee. Hopefully it'll work this time.

It does work, but the videos buffer awfully slowly...
No, it's not my connection either!

Add "&fmt=18" to the end of any video URL for high quality.

Woah, I was not aware of this. I'm sure there must be some kind of button that does this too, but I can't even find that.
Still, thanks for letting me know about the sneaky URL tactics!
