I can see why you'd say 'not solid black', but if you put something behind, then you'd have a background + pulsing lava beam + flowing lava falls... It'd be a bit of an overload.

This is one easy stage, killed the boss in first try, look out for those jumps do EXACTLY as PinkKittyRose showed and you'll be fine, this is a very easy stage

@danihj86 You know, I disagree. Bits of it are very easy, but I had many troubles with many parts of it. And the boss, without the Tornado Blow, is the hardest boss in this game.

@jounihat: I have defeated Magma man without a tornado blow, and only using a buster, and no E-tanks. Of course, it took me HELLUVA lot of continues.

What you need to do is stay REALLY REALLY close to Magma man, as when he's shooting his Magma bazooka, it won't hit you at all. That's when you start spammign the buster. Right when he jumps, run RIGHT under him to the other side and repeat.

i dont remember what mega man it was but on one you could hold down either left or right on the controler not in use this would make you jump all the way to the top of the screen and falling in holes didnt kill you.

You virtually cannot beat magma man without tornado blow. Even with tb you have to use it carefully; don't shoot too quickly or the boss will not take hit from your shots.

I just beat Megaman 10. Much easier than this. Gotta give you props for being able to beat number 9. By far number 9 has given me more trouble than any other megaman game. I can get to Wily's castle but I end up losin everytime.

That´s pretty sad, that you can defeat mr. Magma so easily. Too bad he is way to hard otherwise, I might would have taken him down with M-buster only then. The laser-trident is fairly useful too though.

This is by far the hardest stage in the game other then Plug Man. I'm stuck here and absolutely can't get past.
