The person she killed was, I think, an ambulance driver. Michael Myers had crushed his vocal chords and put the mask on him. It's explained in this movie. I thought it was stupid as fuck. although this movie isn't one of the best of the series, I would advise everyone who keeps saying that Michael died at the end of H20 to very carefully watch the beginning of Resurrection again. It clearly shows that after Laurie stabbed Michael and he fell off the balcony, paramedics came to investigate the scene when Michael woke up and crushed the paramedic's larynx and exchanged clothes with him. So at the end of H20, the paramedic in the body bag in the van is not Michael. He didn't die.
Jamie Lee Curtis's Character has to die because the evil inside Micheal Myers will never die until all the family members are dead. Micheal Myers represents the pure evil and pure evil can not die.

You know, if Michael didn't get killed for 8 movies, then that shows that obviously Laurie could've survived that fall, according to this series' logic.
Halloween H20 should've been the end. Jamie Lee Curtis didn't want to do any others, hence why they killed her off in Resurrection with the stupid story to explain H20's ending. If they had to kill her off, and Dr. Loomis was already theoretically killed at the end of Halloween 6, then they should've had Laurie's son John or better yet Tommy Doyle be the one to kill Michael in the end.
Actually Dr. Loomis didn't die on Halloween 6, watch the producers cut, since 4,5 and 6 were the curse of the thorn storyline, the reason for Loomis screaming was becuz Dr.Wynn gave him the mark of the thorn so he could control Michael, it made him upset so he screamed, but since Halloween H20 ignored the last movies, Loomis died of old age.
H20 ISN'T APART OF THE ROB ZOMBIE FILMS YOU MORON!! The only Halloween films Rob Zombie has done are Halloween 1 (2007) and Halloween 2 (2009). He did his own versions of the first 2 Halloween films originally directed by Carpenter and Rick Rosenthal. I also think that Rob Zombies versions of Halloween are stupid and a waste of time, because he used Danielle Harris(Jamie Strode) again to play Anne and she didn't even die!!! WTF?!? And in Rob's second version was dumb too, because he used his wife to play the "ghost of Michael's mom" which seemed like another Friday the 13th move. Personally, I loved Halloween 1, 2, 3 and 5 (though I know the latter two have their protesters). I dislike Part VI: Curse very much, but I will say...the original series, including the ridiculous Resurrection, is still better than Halloween '07 and Halloween II '09...what trainwrecks! But I suppose everything has to have a fan base, some how. :D

although this movie isn't one of the best of the series, I would advise everyone who keeps saying that Michael died at the end of H20 to very carefully watch the beginning of Resurrection again. It clearly shows that after Laurie stabbed Michael and he fell off the balcony, paramedics came to investigate the scene when Michael woke up and crushed the paramedic's larynx and exchanged clothes with him. So at the end of H20, the paramedic in the body bag in the van is not Michael. He didn't die.

Halloween H20 should've been the end. Jamie Lee Curtis didn't want to do any others, hence why they killed her off in Resurrection with the stupid story to explain H20's ending. If they had to kill her off, and Dr. Loomis was already theoretically killed at the end of Halloween 6, then they should've had Laurie's son John or better yet Tommy Doyle be the one to kill Michael in the end.

Actually Dr. Loomis didn't die on Halloween 6, watch the producers cut, since 4,5 and 6 were the curse of the thorn storyline, the reason for Loomis screaming was becuz Dr.Wynn gave him the mark of the thorn so he could control Michael, it made him upset so he screamed, but since Halloween H20 ignored the last movies, Loomis died of old age.

Like others have said, she could still be alive. If it weren't for the remake, there could've been a final movie where she kills him for certain... and it would've been awesome to see her show up in the final 10 or so minutes of the movie as a surprise (even though some dumbass would leak out that info before the movie would be released to theaters).
