I think - at least I know I was - everyone was talking about the "short illusion" when I said "this was in melee".... If you believe that this game itself is SSBM then you should fall off a cliff. I really hope I'm speaking on behalf of everyone who got thumbed down for this. lol

Also, the short illusion is not new at all. If this is new to anyone, you should also fall off a cliff. :P

Whoever didnt know that, its nothing fancy. Its a illusion cancel. If you do it in the air with wolf, he'll travel more distance then if he completed the illusion. About 2x as much.

Some of you seem to be puzzled about whether this is a glitch or not. IT'S NOT. It's a side special move - simply press left/right and press the special move button, both at the same time of course, then you can do this! It's just like doing the Fox fire!

I can answer your first question...

A modded Wii is a Wii that has been fixed up so it can play games from other regions...specifically Japan, in this case. This allows him to surpass the Region Lock (which disallows playing Japanese games on anything but a Japanese Wii) and play a Japenese copy of Brawl.

SI is to cancel the illusion-attack (left/right B with Fox or Falco) by pressing B a few frames after the illusion has started.

Well, it a short illusion, instead of going all the way, you got a short distance. Its good if you're at the edge of the stage and dont want to fall off

Fox and Falco have an 'illusion' attack, it's their B left/right attack. There's no illusion, it's that attack, and if you do something special, you go about a quarter of the distance but do much more damage.
