  • 12 people got jumped over by Walter Payton

  • I miss Walter. A true CHAMPION! Rock on #34!

  • I think people dislike videos for the hell of it. It's a video about Walter Payton and a song about heaven.

  • Who sings???

  • Payton is a legend.

  • 1:39 hey wuts up im just passing by XD

  • hell lets give props to people who some how takeld him u have to have skill to do that

  • RIP sweetness your record may be broken but your legacy will live on

  • Had to watch this on mute. Video is awesome, that damn Creed is the worst thing to happen to music...them and Nickelback anyway

  • Why isn't this longer?

  • if u think barry is better then stop watching walter payton videos go watch barry vidoes

  • Walter Payton was the greatest player ever to walk onto a football field. Period.

  • @repetitivemotion

What about Jim Brown or Barry Sanders?

    Joe Montana?

  • Looks just like mendenhall at 0:39

  • Barry is not the best walter is

  • walter nice but barry is the best

  • too damn good

  • Walter a beast

  • there will never be another running back as great as Walter on or off the field

  • @MMetroidi disagree...adrian is so far the best runningback ever....because his rushing yards are climbin up like crazy and he will pass everybody thats above him..adrian peterson got to 5,000 yards faster than any runningback in history....and still goin and makin history..nit only that adrian peterson already cleaned up his fumblin problems...but walter payton is second

  • @BeatTheBeatUp1 dude! Walter NEVER EVER EVER showed pain. if he tore his MCL or his ACL he wouldnt care how much it hurt. He would always get right back up. So dont come and dis on peyton.

  • @TheHickey29 i wasnt dissin him...i just said he is second best...did he play with a ripped mcl or acl?

  • @BeatTheBeatUp1 Hahahah coming from a Viking fan I take it. Peterson can't catch for shit, can't block, fumbles the ball as much as anyone and can't stay healthy. He has yet to lead the Vikings to a Super Bowl as well. If you wanna talk about best runner ever at the position Barry Sanders,Marshall Faulk,Jim Brown just to name a few are way better.

  • @Teengenerate77 hahahaha first of all adrian never gets the ball thrown to him...and adrian been cleaned up his fumblin problems...last year he had none..and i think this year only one....and adrians first TD in the nfl as a ROOKIE was a catch and i think a 70 yarder....can you tell me how many passes he dropped?and how many he caught for a TD?

  • @BeatTheBeatUp1 oh yeah and give me the total of balls thrown to his direction....vikings playbook are not ment for adrian to catch the ball...but i dont think he dropped more than 5 passes

  • @Teengenerate77 wayyy better?...you mean back then when the plays was simple and they had no workout mahcines like now.....come on man you cant compare the old school to new because now its more harder...everything is advanced..playbook and so on

  • @Teengenerate77 and vikings line is top 3 worse in the nfl the past 2 years....so every opponent that faces the vikings just have worry about adrian peterson...goin back to 2009 when brett and rice harvin was in thats when the opponent had to worry about other players...now ITS every PLAYER ON THE DEFENSE SCARED OF AP AND AP STILL GETS THE JOB DONE KID.

  • @Teengenerate77 some of the runningbacks you jst name couldnt lead there team to the CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP....you cant win a sport by yourself when it consist as a TEAM EFFORT...SMH....JUST LIKE RANDY MOSS TOP 3 WR OF ALL TIMES NEVER WON A RING if you want to be techinical

  • Comment removed

  • the only one to compare to walter payton is me...who ever that doesnt agree is gay and ignorant...im the best running back in nfl history thumbs up

  • @BeatTheBeatUp1 who are u?

  • @COSMICAFRONINJA ask yourself that young grasshopper:)..im just the ebst runningback ever

  • not to get in paytons shit but earl cambell is the best running back ever'

  • @mattrick50 WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, OK FIRST, GET TRUCKED MY PEYTON,THEN GET TRUKED BY CAMBELL, WHO HIT HARDER

  • HE COULD TRUCK ANY 1

  • he died too soon

  • Nice music for the mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn ya a yaaaa.

  • Walter Payton: the packers worst nightmare

  • walter payton on many occasions has run over his own teamates they often wonder why payton just replies "all i see is the touchdown and jerseys if ur in my way then ur in the wrong place"

  • In Payton's head: "MOVE BITCH, GET OUT THE WAY! GET OUT THE WAY, GET, GET OUT THE WAY!"

  • wow.. this guy was amazing.. i love when running backs jump over the top on a goal line defense to score.. they don't do that much anymore

  • 12 People got trucked by Walter Payton

  • @louiscarmelotan uu ow that would hert a lot

  • I was named after Walter payton:) and proud of it

  • Look at all the defenders. They are horrible at tackling. They aren't even doing the right tackle position. I think tackles starting progressing tremendously in the 1990s.

  • @NFLization it dosen't take anything away from Walter, he's one of a kind!

  • @NFLization actually payton played in one of the best and hardest hitting defensive eras that had jack lambert and the steel curtain, ronnie lott, jack tatum, steve atwater, lawrence taylor, etc. there also were not any rules that restricted defensive players either, back then they speared, lead with helment, hit helmet to helmet, clothes lined tackled, horse collar tackled and also hit lower more often, today is nothing but arm tackling and high tackling which makes it easier to break a tackle.

  • god creed sucks. but Walter Payton will forevor be the best running back of all time.

  • koo

  • either they could not hit for shit back then or this guy was an absolute BEAST. I'm gunna say it was a little bit of both

  • @cuband8 there were good defensive players back then so he is a beast

  • Karate Kick at 2:00

  • Wow, I knew RIGHT AWAY that the music was beyond shitty (and HELLA corny) before the singer started his low-mid turd-in-the-throat singing but, DAMN, it became intolerable after.

Really, man? You like that white-bread shit?! WHY would you put that offal with a Sweetness highlight reel?! COMPLETELY incongruous.

    No accounting for taste...

  • Comment removed

  • Wrap him boy!

  • Comment removed

  • him and AP ran so much alike

  • your right him and peterson do run alot alike

  • @Ladiestreat and now ur being a sterotype congrats..idiot

  • hahaha 1:30 that rams players reaction after getting denied haha walter paytons such a beast

  • SWEETNESS!!!

  • He has the ability of making a good defense look incredibly bad, the running back to ever play the game, top 5 all time NFL legends

  • a new battle has taken place in the southern hemisphere "RWC 2011"

  • The entire starting Lions team disliked this.

  • Comment removed

  • simply the greatest

  • Walter Payton was very good, but I also liked Gary Fencik.

  • thats gotta fuckin suck if ur literally the only player left in the open field to tackle him lol

  • Walter Payton and Barry Sanders= The most exciting RBs of all time!

  • How can you dislike Walter Payton? Thats not american... just saying

  • Walter Payton = the best football player of all time.

  • walter peyton doesnt get enough credit for running backs today fail in comparison

  • the 11 dislikes are for creed

  • @schrockboy Walter Payton's highlights even make Creed seem worth listening to.

  • Heart of a Champion and arguably the best all-around football player of all time. Others had more speed, others more strength, etc. But noone had the full package like Sweetness. He fought for every yard and could make you miss or run you over. The man never "stepped" out of bounds. He made you hit him out of bounds....if you could. Greatest of all time in the fans heart.

  • Only Chicago Bear i can respect

  • Happy Birthday Sweetness..

  • Who could dislike this video

  • Anyone I mean

  • Ok i get there are trolls on the Internet who dislike vids just because but why would abdone dislike abything about sweetness?

  • nice vid, but its more of a tribute

  • nice video dude

  • he is the best ever like a boss

  • Best running backs of all time 1. Jim Brown 2. Walter Payton 3. Barry Sanders, nuff said

  • Much Respect For Sweetness Rest In Peace Man!!

  • @LILTECH1218 Yes, the best FB player to play the game. See you in Heaven, Sweetness.

  • R.I.P Walter "Sweetness" Payton. You changed the game forever

  • He is Unbelievable But Jim Brown was unmatched

  • He ran threw everyone now everyone just jukes and try's not to get hit its pussy

  • watching this is emotinal, to know we lost him.

  • Adrian peterson can be the next walter payton

who put this white trash azz music on fa dis man highlights ,man das fucked up

  • @jamesbond504 No! don't say that, I'm a black man from Baton Rouge, LA so i know what 504 means. This person is probably white and that's O.K. if he or she feels that this song best represents Payton than i'm cool with that. People of all races respect Payton because he was a real man and i respect that.

  • @Tsugua21 I think the songs about heaven. Which would suggest that he was a great man and went to heaven(which he very likely did, he was a good man). But that's just my thoughts on it.

  • Adrian peterson can be the next walter payton

  • him and barry sanderscare actually tied for the best ever i think barry but walter payton is a beast put amphasis on beast

  • Beast mode 4 life

  • Just watching him run is the definition of heart, he didn't stop moving his legs ever, and he ran as if he thought nobody would ever take him down Awesome video

  • Honestly he breaks average 4 tackles on every single play, best RB ever! (Let alone his blocking ability for the Quarterback!)

  • nice music... jack ass

  • This guy could make something out of nothing. Incredible. Only Superman flew though the air better.

  • 01:38 -- Payton ran into a brick wall!

  • The 10 people who disliked doesn't have sweetness

  • truthfully people arguing over the greatest of all time back really forget some who aren't as decorated. This may just be because he was the greatest back when I was growing up but. Ladainian tomlinson is the best back in my eyes because of the fact that he's faster than barry payton smith and brown. Contrary to most's beliefs he's stronger than those four two. I've been to Florida U, OSU, and TCU and Ladainian is still on the all time lifting list and fastest 40. Not to mention 159 TD's

  • @izuru67 take that shit out of here, tomlinson is not even top 10, hes an all around pussy who runs out of bounds instead of plowing through scrawny DB's to get some more yards, he sits out of playoff games because of petty injuries,

  • Truly this video is excellent, Walter Payton is a fantastic football player, the music made it even better, thumbs up if you think Walter Payton is the best!

  • 1.Payton

    2.Sanders

    3.Smith

  • @Thebrownelementsk8er Are those your rankings for runner up to Jim Brown?

  • pussy stole this vid just replaced the audio the real vid was made first checked the date so i dont want pussys sayin check da date the vi will be place if he doesnt take it down

  • i fucking hate this song

  • @nirvanapixiesmisfits, I can agree with you on that point.

  • @nirvanapixiesmisfits Yeah those are the people that don't even know Creed is a band. If they did they most certainly would hate the music. Seriously their isn't anything special about that group. Just give up and admit it.

  • @nirvanapixiesmisfits You're dumb for the simple fact that Creed sucks and you are trying to debate what is a fact. Similar to trying to say that Walter Payton wasn't a great running back.

  • good god, was he always like this? breaking every tackle? is this why everyone loves devin hester so much

  • perfect song. i used this for a presentation on who my role model is. No one in football is a better role model to me than Walter is and always will be

  • Walter Payton deserves a song better than Creed.

  • Scissor kick!

  • creed suuuuuuuucccckkkkkkssssss

  • madden 12 cover

  • But let's not argue Walter would not want that

  • @bbyurdful true that muthafucka we the real shit @ppll ? Shut the fuck up white can't do shit

  • Cannot deny Payton top 3 if not alltime best player in the NFL, who over his career brought the Bears back to life, something Gale Sayers tried to do but only Payton succeeded

  • It looks like it's impossible to tackle him

  • well its nice to see there is only 9 assholes at the end of 2010...happy new year

  • i taught him everything he knows

  • @TripleJsk8team knew*

  • this song suckssss

  • black people rock !! u know we are real Athletes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @bbyrdful More racism. :\ white people can be just as good.

  • Creed sucks.

  • If DIck Butkus would have been born a running back.

His name would have been Walter Payton.

YOu noticed I referenced greatness with greatness?

That is Chicago Bears football. You can only compare a Bear to another Bear.

    NOthing else compares.

  • @irishbear76 How about Tom Brady 3 rings. Yes, Payton and Butkus were great, but the Bears are not OMG EVERY PLAYER IS AMAZING.

  • @Mattu190

    The Bears R great.

    They were the first.

George Halas was a player and a coach for the Decatur Staleys (Bears). He founded the league.

The Bears have more hall of famers than any other team

The New England Cheaters would not have a league to play in if not for Papa Bear Halas.

I can only hope that the Patriots make it to the Super Bowl so the Bears speed will come into play against them. The Bears are built on SPEED, they lost their speed in 4 inches of snow and ice.

    Not again.

  • payton and Sayers cant be stoped Go Bears

  • God, I wish I could still see him play, man was a beast R.I.P

  • Payton punished tacklers.

  • his stiff arm is so epic

  • beastly

  • haha 1:50 get that shit outa here

  • I can watch this over and over and over... and never get tired of it!

  • Best running back of all times....not only was he an outstanding athlete...he had more heart then most! Which in my opionion makes him the best!!

  • @marie946 Walter was great, a legend...but Jim Brown is the greatest running back ever, period.

  • @ksuds08 Walter Payton pound for pound was the strongest ever. Best Stiff arm in the league. Jim Brown was great but I disagree with you. Walter was the best!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @marie946 Walter Payton averaged 4.4 yards per carry. Jim Brown averaged 5.2, a record that still stands. Jim Brown is the ONLY running back EVER to average over 100 yards rushing per game. Walter Payton averaged 88. Walter was great, but Jim Brown is the best and it's really not that close. Sorry!

  • @ksuds08 You'd get better results comparing Payton and Barry Sanders. Payton and Jim Brown isn't even debatable, Payton was hands down the better back. Watch some Payton highlights and I think you'll understand why. The guy had the perfect combination of speed, strengh and quickness. He could run inside, he could run outside, he could run around, he could run through you. He used to break peoples ankles with his moves leaving them looking for their jockstrap on the field.

  • @marie946 Hands down? Are you kidding? You better brush up on your football history. Please provide some facts and figures to support your arbitrary claims. And all of that talk about being the "perfect combination of speed, strength and quickness"....UM HELLO!! That was Jim Brown! He was 6 foot 2 230 lbs (In his era he was as big as some offensive lineman...hell, that's big by today's standards!) with blazing speed, agility, power and balance. Oh by the way he never missed a game.

  • @ksuds08

Career Rush TD Career Rush Att Career Rush Yds

Walter Payton 110 Walter Payton 3838 Walter Payton 16726

Jim Brown 106 Jim Brown 2359 Jim Brown 12312

  • @marie946 It took Walter Payton 13 years to amass those numbers, most of which were 16 game seasons. It took Jim Brown 9 season for his, 4 of which were 12 game seasons, the other 5 were 14. If you're going to use those numbers to support your argument then you might as well be touting emmitt smith as the greatest ever. Jim Brown was the most productive, most dominant, greatest running back of all time.

  • @ksuds08 to bad for the fact that payton broke browns record in his 9th season, not his 13th.

  • @chibears26 Jim Brown played half his career in 12 game seasons and the other half 14 game seasons. It took him 118 games to amass his career yardage. It took Walter Payton 136 games to break that record. 136-118=18. 18 games! That's more than an entire season it took Payton to duplicate those numbers! Look at the per carry and per game averages. Jim Brown still holds the record for both. There's really no comparison, Jim Brown wins that in a landslide

  • @ksuds08 and brown had 2,600 recieving yards and payton had 4,500 recieving yards, you take away 2,000 recieving yards from payton to make them tied for recieving yards and replace paytons recieving yards with rushing yards then he breaks that record in about 110-115 games, and stats have nothing to do with who's greater anyways, its a fact that payton is better overall all due to his blocking, running, recieving, passing, and returning skills all combined brown cant even compare

  • @chibears26 That made absolutely no sense what you suggested first of all. Why would you add Payton's receiving yardage onto his rushing total without adding Jim Browns as well? Second of all, I will absolutely not disagree that Walter Payton is the best all around back ever. But NOBODY before or since has dominated the game from the running back position the way Jim Brown did.

  • @chibears26 And for what it's worth, Jim Brown was a pretty damn good all around back too. If you projected his per game receiving averages out to the 190 games that Walter Payton played, he'd have finished with over 4000 career receiving yards. And that would have been on top of what his rushing yards would have projected out to be, which is just a shade under 20,000 career yards. Think about that for a second will you please.

  • @ksuds08 Obviously, we all can debate who we think was the best runningback. My opinion is that Patyon was and yours is that Brown was.

  • @marie946 Agree. Walter Payton is the greatest RB ever and, in my opinion, the best FB player to play the game. He didn't have a Pro-Bowl lineman in front of him until 85 & that was 11 years into his career and then retires 2 years later (when the Bears had a strong offensive line - imagine if he had Emmit Smith's O-Line?). He played on so many awful teams - he was all the Bears had for so many years. Plus, he threw, what, 9 touchdown passes in his career? My opinion, but Sweetness is the best!!

  • @ksuds08 You have your views, I have mine. Discussion over.

  • @marie946 agreed. he wld be my second tho...behind earl campbell..

  • 9 ppl are packer fans. GO BEARS!!!!!!!

  • lol at 1:40, ran into his own lineman lol go Bears!

  • what can you say wow.there will never be another walter

  • im better
