@BillSteer99 Why in fucks name should people have given Doan and the Coyotes a good reception? Doan only played in Wpg for 1 season, his mediocre rookie year, then he left. The Coyotes are terrible and people in Winnipeg dislike the fact that they represent what they lost. There's nothing hypocritical about it.

@lovelylass13 Fuck You! The Jets fans like you have proved to the world that they have no class. It makes your team look bad. Fuck Winnipeg! If they didn't want them to leave back then, then why didn't somebody do something about it, instead of bitch an whine, and act all hostile towards america for "stealing their team"? Let me ask U this? None of the players with the exception of Doan even played for Winnipeg. Why did they get bood? Not their decision! Low class, no respect.

@BillSteer99 lmao alright, for 1 thing the team left due to factors beyond the fans control like the low CDN $ and shit arena, the fans did try to do something about it by holding a rally and raising $13M dollars but it wasnt enough. And fans dislike the Coyotes because it's still the same FRANCHISE, it's not the same team that left in 96 but technically the same entity. I dont even know why I bother with you, all you do is waste your time trolling youtube videos, get a fuckin life.
@furball411 your an idiot.... Nuff said.... Temmu has had his best years in Winnipeg and he even says it him self if you would check out some interviews he's had
@funkmeister98 This is why I fucking hate Canadian hockey fans. You think everything belongs to you and don't give a fuck about the US. Fuck off man, Teemu's home is in Anaheim and this is where he played with Kariya and won a STANLEY CUP. He only spent a few seasons in winnipeg. this is different from Koivu going back to Montreal. God you guys are so fucking ignorant sometimes
okay winnipeg we all know you love Teemu. But I'm sick of people who say he belongs there. Teemu has had his best years as a Duck and will always be remembered as a Duck. Period
@furball411 You must be joking! Because that made me crack up laughing... His first home ever was in Winnipeg, he's mentioned how Winnipeg feels like home, every time he comes back we treat him with the upmost respect and cheers, you will not find that anywhere else with any other hockey player, ever! That's cool that you're a Ducks fan, you can keep your Ducks, Teemu will always be in the hearts of Winnipegger's and NHL fans will always remember him as a Jet.
@MissBobbyMcGee77 This is why I fucking hate Canadian hockey fans. You think everything belongs to you and don't give a fuck about the US. Fuck off, Teemu's home is in Anaheim and this is where he played with Kariya and won a STANLEY CUP. He only spent a few seasons in winnipeg. this is different from Koivu going back to Montreal. @MissBobbyMcGee77 explain your logic to me. just because he broke the rookie scoring record in Winnipeg doesn't outweigh all he's done in Anaheim. I'm sorry but Anaheim is home and that's a fact. Teemu is a Duck for life and will always be a Duck to the NHL. so fuck off you winnipeg troll
@furball411 Hahaha we'll see where he ends his season. Man between the 4 fans in Atlanta, Gary Bettman, and the dudes in Anaheim it's like Winnipeg is the least liked city, but to the rest of the NHL world we are famous haha. I'll let you have you mini glory, maybe if you guys were to cheer him half as loudly as Winnipeg has, then I'll listen to you.
@MissBobbyMcGee77 are you serious? Just because our attendance is crap doesn't mean anything. Don't even talk, you guys are the ones who couldn't keep a franchise in the first place. Teemu is always a Duck but he just has a special place for Winnipeg too.
@furball411 Trust me it wasn't due to the city or the fan base that we lost our team. Plenty of other popular, money making teams were moved because of Gary Bettman. You can't blame the Nordiques, the Whalers, or the Jets for that. You can hate Canadian hockey fans all you want, but Teemu said it himself, Winnipeggers make hockey players feel like gods, and no one has said that about Anaheim. All he said about Anaheim was that was when he started to understand the business better.
@MissBobbyMcGee77 are you stupid? He loves Anaheim, he just isn't here because of business. Your points are pathetic and not even legitimate. I'm done with you ignorant Winnipeg fans. Don't leave the MTS Centre empty
@furball411 Why does it matter to you if Jets fans say he belongs in Winnipeg... they adore him and rightfully so... It's not like all their wishing is going to materialize as a trade to the Jets ASAP. Fuck you're insecure.
1:25 The look he has on his face is priceless, Look in his eyes and you can see the moments running through in his mind. Good for you Teemu. Hockey will never be the same when you retire. Proud to be a ducks fan.
Ya know ... I've been watching these Youtube.com videos regarding Selanne's visit (Anaheim) to Winnipeg.
I have to hand it to you folks in Winnipeg: you put so many other NHL team fans to shame. YOU GUYS ARE 'CLASS'.
I'm a Leafs fan, who now wears a Jet's hat out of respect. I love my Leafs, but the Jets will always be my 'other' favourite team; yeah ... even if you beat the pants off of my Buds.
I hope to get to the MTS Centre to cheer with you all! RESPECT!!!!
i went to this hockey game i looked up when anaheim was coming to only see that they were coming once, was a game ill never forget we miss you teemu......
Stats speak for themselves. Teemu Selanne seven 40 goal seasons, three 50 goal seasons, one cup, four hundred point seasons while Jagr had 5 thanks to Mario. The legend Lemieux only beat Selanne in 96 by 13 points. Played for a million times better team too.
i would love to see a small interview with his beautiful wife... how she teared up that night.. and what it meant to her, to be in Winnipeg that night... the salute to her husband.. and that no matter what, they will always have a home here in my city, Winnipeg, because that's where the Selanne family belongs...
Was at this Game, was such a great atmosphere really was! Amazing to see his return I young fan lucky to be able go games but I know lot of bit older people from old jets time would loved to go, but it's amazing! Go jets go!
He might have not won the gold but tear up the stats with our team. One of the beast to ever touch the stick. Below Sakic and Lemieux but definetly better than Jagr, Forsberg or Sundin.
i missed the opening period, so taped the replay that CBC runs afer midnight... thye showed all three of the other games and not a single solitary glimpse of the Jets game... CBC sux... CBC is the reason i hate the leafs.. forced to watch the crappy leafs for so many years
The bottom line is, no matter what... Teemu will always be a Winnipger... No other city on the earth can claim that right... we love him more than anyone... Teemu will always be a Jet... I hope he retires here... buy's a house in the Peg... cause that's where he is needed..
