@SPIRITAIR1 This is one of three High School Fire Academies in the State of North Carolina. These students complete 20 of 21 classes toward their NC State Firefighter I,II certification. We encourage them to get their Haz Mat Awareness and Operations class finished during their Junior year and once they graduate they do their Fire Control practicals with a live burn and then they are completely certified. Our state certification is IFSAC approved and good in 43 states and 18 countries.
