deleted a bunch of you guys yelling at each other, come on guys. it's just a clip from a movie, no need to try and prove to complete strangers who is cooler, people can interpret the scene however they want without repercussion from others.
This whole movies changed my perspective on life and mainly Jonny boi. I dont know why this movie changed me, but wtf. This song is baddass. And that is why you and I love the drugs.
Completely agree. Pure genius. Luckily the first time I watched this was last night, and Im glad because I had to replay this intelligent, thought provoking philosophical aspect on life.
MegaSmurfen, do not give out the wrong answer. If you search the Piano Quintet: "The Trout Quintet", it is played by 4-5 ppl.
This monologue is played only by 1 person, Johnny Quid on the piano. The piano piece was supposed to be Schumann's "Scenes from Childhood" but was replaced last minute by an original song.
Neither can I. There's a nocturne by Chopin listed in the credits, I feel like that might be it instead. There's another "Noctrine" by James Scott Bartlett, both of which, if they are in fact "nocturnes" would be much more likely to be the song than The Trout Quintet. Now, all of Chopin's nocturnes are available online but this Bartlett character is a ghost, can't find him. Maybe that's the "original piece." Maybe it is Scenes From Childhood, I'm not real up on classical music.
From this point on in the movie, I was thinking that even tho Johnny is a junkie, he's actually quite brilliant on the inside.

It's not Scenes From Childhood, but it sounds a good deal like Dreaming, part 7 of Scenes From Childhood. Might be the same key. F Major.
