kinect looks like ps3 eyetoy to the extreme which is kind of pointless... the wii and ps3 kick ass the xbox fails i have a xbox slim (the halo reach edition) and it gives me alot of problem with freezing for sum reson best pluss everting ive seen is compress images and why would any one compress an image, when you compress an image it will loose some of its quality, also cross game chat is the worst thing to happen.. especially when you have 4 idiots who keep dieing cuz they cant hear the plan..

also the xbox controller has lost its connection on me a bunch of times when i played online the least they could have done is give me the damn charge and play kit what a rip.. ps3 controllers funtion flawlessly after there syn and you can easly swap what controller you are using if your controller dies on you.. xbox has alot of problems that get on my nerve halo reach itself is not a great online game when people leave in the middle of a match no one else can join till the round is over.....

It's all nonsense, but good marketing. PS3 have controller free gaming and voice recog too, but they need to market it properly and quickly otherwise MS will score big this holiday.

For real gamers, of course Move is better... you can point... you can shoot

@anakin808 I think the Kinect camera itself is quite a good concept, but I hate its implementation and marketing.

There are some things that you just need a controller for, and that's where Sony and Nintendo get it right and Kinect gets it wrong. The thing is, adding a controller makes it look the same as Nintendo, so Microsoft would rather have an inferior product but score a few marketing points rather then take Sony's route.

I can honestly say, I have singstar on my PS3 (its my sisters, i swear) and the voice recognition definetly works. It is extremely accurate unlike some other voice recognition *looking at you Windows Voice Recognition*. It has only stuffed up once and thats when I realized I was competely mispronouncing the name of the song :D

yaeh, at same price, ps3 is definitively a better value. blue ray, less system failure, free network, motion sensing(if you saw the demonstration... it's not weaker than project natal at all) also, you know what's this voice recognition technology used on? search on wikipedia or google a game called EYEDENTIFY . currently still under development. now that's what i call a revolution to gaming.

Ahhh soo you can play gimmicky games? Shovelware? Agentxxjr you are now not considered a real gamer, but a casual gamer.

Seriously if you are a real gamer you would see that doing Milos homework every few hours would get boring. You would see there are only so few games that could work with no buttons.

You would see Natal is not that new, the PSeye already does pretty much everything Natal can do. You would see all Natal is is a bit of new software which will get old. And is inaccurate.

We can already do nearly the same. An extra camera would make it further more accurate, and overpar natals. Already the PSeye is more accurate than natals camera. Sony really needs a marketing overhaul.

It takes a lot of effort to make this tech work since it's often doesn't work or is really awful at knowing what you're saying.

But IF it ever gets perfected it will make file searches, for one, much easier.
