I think they got about 3 solidly landed punches apiece in that whole fight. Most of those were just glancing. With that said, clearly Thornton won that fight because he's so goddamn tough, those punches probably hurt Brashear's hands more than it hurt Thornton's face. So that's 6 solidly landed blows for Thornton and none for Brashear.

Thornton won this fight. If you watch the fight carefully, you would notice that Thorntons punches were much more damaging! While Brashear threw more punches, most of them hit Thornton on the side or back of the head. Brashear threw more punches which made him look busier but Thornton buckled Brash's knees with one of those right hooks. When they went toe to toe at the beginning of the fight, Thornton landed 3 straight punches to Donald's face.
