You should really look at the scriptural time line - to which Yahshua was referring - far more closely. He wasn't giving us new information at all! He was merely retelling what all of the prophets had already written upon - in: Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Malachi, Zechariah, Haggai, Joel, Nahum, Habakkuk, etc....

Mathew chapter 24 and the prophecies of Revelation are concurrent prophecies with all of the other End Time Prophecies in scripture!

Thank you brother. I pray earnestly that I will not be deceived. I do believe false messiahs will come with lying wonders to try to counterfeit the return of the true messiah. We must constantly be on our guard. The only way to know truth is as you say, read the bible myself and ask the Lord to protect me from deception. I don't believe anymore most of what is being preached in popular american churches today. They are apostate. They are preaching another gospel.

i believe that the new jerusalem is a literal craft that is coming here to earth, i think it is a literal mother ship, i think it will be a large construct that will land on earth or in our atmosphere, it will call up the true followers, into the cube, and no one on earth will be able to penetrate it unless they follow God. the angels will be at the 12 gates, the craft is 1,400 miles square, over jerusalem!

He not only said that some of His disciples would see it, but He also told the HIgh Priest in Matthew 26:64 that thereafter he would see the Son of Man riding on the clouds of heaven. It was all metaphorical language. Jesus came back in the clouds (metaphorically) to judge Old Covenant Israel just as Jesus said would happen in Matthew 23.

Yes, He did... However, "This Generation" did not refer to those whom He was then talking to; but rather, to: "Those living at the time, that these [given] signs begin to factually occur."

@frank32965 Frank you're wrong. Jesus made it clear in more places than that, that His return would happen before that generation passed. One of the events given in the Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21) was His return. You can see that in Matthew 24:30-31. Then in Matthew 16:27-28 Jesus told them explicitly that He would come with His angels in His Kingdom before some of His disciples tasted death. You must take all of that into context. Study 1st Century History.

These are NOT the last days predicted by Christ. Jesus made it clear that all of those signs in the Olivet Discourse (Matt. 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21) that ALL of those events would take place in THAT GENERATION (HIS OWN GENERATION, NOT A GENERATION THOUSANDS OF YEARS IN THE FUTURE).
