  • nice!

  • do those vacuum engines need an intake and outtake ? or just intake because i made 1 but it only has 1 hole on wich i mount my vacuum and the upwards motion goes smooth but the downwards doesnt. how does this all work ???

  • EDWARD PENISHANDS

  • make an air compresser power :D

  • how do you make this(put outorial plz)

  • @saharat1 More information on how this engine works and how to build it: check the description and the linked URL!

  • Cool man

  • can this engine operate as a compressor if a electric motor installed?

  • Yes, it works as a compressor/vacuum too. By rotating the wheels, you can feel puffs of air coming from the inlet. Similarly, putting pressure on the inlet instead of a vacuum engine makes the engine running in the other direction.

  • hey if you had 4 of those moving things you could make a vacum powerd car

  • See, the only problem with osilating cylenders is that it wont run Extremely fast...

  • woot nice can u let us see what u did put in the hole? i want also make that :D

  • I oiled mine and it turns faster and does not squeak.

  • @1995fordf150 what did u use for oiling xD normal oil will destroy ur legos but silicon wont

  • @molo265 It says turbine oil on the bottle

  • @1995fordf150 wtf is turbine oil O_o'' xDDDDD

  • awome

  • dude that could be like the new car engine! but it's so farfetched because you would need a gigantic vaccuum if you wanted a regular sized car to drive

    5/5 stars nice

  • Na, you can just use some Pneumatics, and it might be possible. I don't know. lol, just a thought.

  • Yeah I made one too, check out my vid, I was thinking maybe we could use something like a big syringe (clutch) in another hybrids to supply the vacuum power for perhaps a while then reload it by repressing the clutch again.

  • This is, by far, my favorite lego "thingomajigger" :P

5/5 every time I watch the video

  • just make a holder, add some more wheel and some mindstorms and you got ur own selfcleaning vacuum

  • Can you help me i tryed something like this but it stops after 1 complete turn.

  • caspall has instructions. make his first then try making your own

  • genious!

  • brilliant!

  • i made a one cylinder and it runs so fast that it gets destroyed after 30 sec, LOL

  • i built one finally!!!

if you build a "channel" on the top where the intake is, you can spray wd-40 into it and then really watch it fly.

although i had some motor oil lying around, and that worked even better.

    just my 0.02$

  • Im going to try it out

  • can u post a howto vid?

  • He already did !!

  • lol the same day i foud out how :)

  • transform that to 1 cylinder engine,it goes faaaaaaaastthhhhh..

  • nice work really inventive

  • man i built it and it doesnt work

  • WOW, Do you mind me using this on my next lego machine. I will post credits!!!

  • omg wow... that is like the most original thing ever I mean I was thinking of making a pneumatic can crusher powered by a vacuum cleaner but never had a chance to get to it... glad you did and posted it.

  • i Wish i could even think obout somethink like that :O

  • thats the best motor on youtube! =)

  • Brilliant

  • This is truly amazing. I never thought I would see a genuine piston-powered Lego engine. 5 out of 5.

  • Very nice

  • how do u make those cos im a steam lover an kno how to make one wit all show an no go but i duno how to make one to go too...

  • I love these vacuum-cleaner engines! I am in the process of constructing a V4 with throttle, using a similar concept...

  • This is the best lego engine i've ever seen on any website! Not only because it is very fast, its also very easy to build, and you almost just use old-style lego bricks!

    5/5 indeed!!

  • hey ur engine i avesome but i buildt it after the instrucktions and i didnt work.

    can anyone please help?

  • Send me some pics and I'll probably be able to help.

  • ok thanks

  • Um, I didn't get the pictures.

  • nice

  • awesome!

  • hey it's ur guess ut how many rpms do u think it goes ?

  • As stated in the description, 900RPM.

  • ok... that's just cool!! congratulations! that's really using Lego for what it was meant to. Great!

  • Sweeeeeet!

  • well that is cool man! It works like it should.

  • huh ???

    that's awesome !!!

  • how do you make it work POST INSTRUCTIONS !!!! NOW!!!!

  • check the website in the info ...

  • lolz thats good and all but, but my slot car has over 40,000 rpm. =P

  • Instructions... INSTRUCTIONS :p

  • see info ...

  • nice engine! i made a V4 with tubes from some kind of "life on mars" lego & it got stronger xD

  • I've made one with a single cylindre, it seems to work if i suck in the hole with my mouth, but i have yet to test it with a vacuum cleaner...

In theory it'll work with overpressure too (from a compressor maybe), that'll just make it turn over the other way. That's also what would happen if you used steam.I'm going to try that, as my dad has a HUGE compressor :D

  • I've make a v2 with this, now I will build a v8

  • how do u make it swich?

  • Nice Nice Thats damm cool

  • Cool make a v8 now..

  • lol

  • More information on how this engine works: check the description and the linked URL!

  • Damnn its cool! Hope it's note fake. How you done it?

  • how does it work?

  • wow very cool! Now just attach it to something

  • Very Very nice!! It's great.
