Most musicians I know show mutual respect for fellow musicians whether they like what they play or not. If you dont like someones playin you just keep your mouth shut. Also, posting your rude, negative and harmful comments here is no different than going up to someone and telling them to there face...which you wouldnt do because you couldnt hide behind the internet.

Too many egos here. What this guy is teaching is real theory that players at certain levels could learn from. NOT everyone is at an expert level as some of you profess to be. Thanks for the post.

A lot of rock players move into jazz.. These are useful chord voicings to know about. The only problem here is the billing, calling them advanced jazz guitar techniques.

Actually this lesson more than bad, is so boring because the voicings don't offer emotion factor to the sequence at the moment to interconnect harmonies. Besides at the end of the lesson he doesn't even play the song as it shoulb be shown to students. This is a constructive critic to improve the teaching process!! With all due respect and good will! im done. i wish to vioce my opinion no more. i was simply browsing and saw the first misinformation and then apparent lack of information. I'm by no means an expert. But I'd simply expect expert village to have a real one though.

he should show people how to use other string groups. rock players play root heavy chords. jazz players don't. you can use 4 strings not 6 and still get 9, 11, 13 whatever. he should go into basic harmony. most real playing situations expect you to know what extended harmonies to add or expect you to hear them, they dont spell it out for you.
