AoC is the best MMORPG out there, WoW is nothing compared to this. I have a level 80 warrior on WoW, it sucks. At 80 what do you do ? raids? wow fun! pressing the same 5 buttons 3 hours long, and the pvp is so gay.

The combat in this vid is incredibly slow compaired to what it is now. Funcom has revamped the gameplay, fixed the bugs, and has evened out the classes. Just subed for a year! :)

@oraste You havent tried to play a caster, have you?... Casters are artillery, sure they can nuke whoever. But that's why you have sins, to rush in and take down casters in 5-6 seconds. aoc pvp is about the whole team, you need the right classes to take down certain other classes.

WoW pvp is 80% gear , 19 % class and 1% skills.

For AoC I'd say that a 1v1 battle result is almost 100% skill.

Though, if you come across people with the highest pvp level, they'll have alot of pvp immunity, so it will be harder for you. But still skill is the most important thing in AoC's pvp.

it really is...at level 50 a duel takes about 10-20 minutes...depending on the skill of the players it can go to up to an hour...

Pretty terrible play by the guardian..

I'll give you new guardians an pretty basic way of beating assassins and barbarians easy.

Stack up all ranks of your Counter-Strike's, use Cunning Deflection (preferably right before he finishes a combo), when hes down to 40-50% health or so use a KnockBack on him, at the same time switch to Frenzy Stance and go all in damage (Overreach or any nice damaging combo, with all short term dmg buffs on), and hes dead before he gets back up from the ground. GL!

Well .. Pot for arranged duel that a no no. But for random duel? Yes.I'm a Ranger and i rarely have to pot. The only time i pot it's when i'm facing realy strong opponent , or many opponent.

It was an arranged duel and we BOTH used pots I believe. Besides everyone agrees this game is still imbalanced in terms of classes. Rangers themselves say that their class is overpowered, so give it some time and see if you feel that your class will still be as powerful as it is now.

there is a period in the rangers lvling that sucks and that is 40-43 in those lvl rangers suck but after that all comes back to normal

Not exactly true. Rangers become a group support class after 60, and aren't as great in PvP situations. Of course, the latter note becomes apparent at around level 40, but isn't too significant until 70 or so.
